Really really big for a Large,
August 14, 2009
By lahainagallery

"I ordered the Large pants - I am 6' tall and 200 lbs. These are really big - I will keep them as they are only an outer shell - but if you want them to fit better and are about my size - order the medium pants. Just thought you should know."

Winter Hunting,

By Birdhunternd

"I covered these in my review of the parka. I think they will work great after the snow gets here. Ample room for layers of clothing underneath on cold days. I would recommend these and the parka to anyone that does any winter hunting."

Good price Needs elastic,
March 12, 2008
By TackleBerryWolfinstien
from Edmonton Alberta Canada

"The pants do fit big as other have said so pick a size smaller then you would wear, the drawstring waistband isnt very comfy at all, and tends to make the pants fall off so i had elastic put in. But the pattern and the fabric itself is very tough and makes very little too no noise when walking.. Blends in real well.... All around good pants for the price if you dont mind putting some time into them or wearing suspenders...."

Coverup Pants,
February 25, 2008
By MtDew
from Idaho
|
"The pattern is great for the sage bush area i hunt here in idaho. I've called in several coyotes in locations that don't have the best cover. The pattern blend in with the back drop and conceals me better then any other snow camo i've ever used. It is a great product. Pants are a little loose but a pair of suspenders works great to keep them around your waist instead of your ankles. For the price this product is hard to beat."

Canadian Coverup Pants,
February 20, 2008
By Anonymous
from Manitoba, Canada
|
"These pants are not made for the short. The waist comes all the way up to my armpits. They fit larger than expected. I will have to have them altered. The cost of exchanging outweighs the cost for altering. However, the material is of good quality. Quiet and strong enough for many years of predator hunting."

"I recently purchased the canadian coverup pants to go with the jacket. They are a great item for late season goose hunting along the rivers and also great for hunting coyotes. They are light and slip over your heavy winter gear. They are very soft and dont much noise if ,any. The price is great for the product."

Nice coverups but,,
May 15, 2007
By RJamesJr

"It would be helpful if the coverups had a fly in them. It wouldn't have to have a zipper, just a button at the top and in the middle. Had to have them altered to accomodate going to the bathroom."

alternative option to buying separate camo,
December 3, 2006
By calz54
from Northern Illinois
|
"These coverup pants are very decent for the price. They are a nice alternative to purchasing a new set of camo for winter. They just slip over top of your other hunting clothes, and help keep snow from soaking threw your other pants. These coverups have no insulation, so dress accordingly underneath them. The sizes tend to run slightly larger than most other clothes."

Canadian Cover up test,
November 24, 2006
By Layne
from British Columbia, Canada
|
"The best of the snow patterns I've used. These pants are excellent. Throw them over top of your Gore-tex, and you're good to go! This pattern is the best snow pattern I've seen, hands down!(I've used a few!). Works well in the open, and heavily wooded areas as well. I like the attention Cabelas has paid to the grey spectrum instead of just "black" like most other snow patterns I've used."

cover up pants,
November 20, 2006
By kpfrank
from Houston TX
|
"I bought these pants for a hunt to Canada. Needless to say they performed poorly. They utilize a drawstring vs an elastic waistband. I had more problems keeping the pants from falling down than anything else. In fact, I was climbing out of a tree stand and the next thing I knew the pants were around my ankles."
