Comfortable, Tough, and Versatile.,December 1, 2008

"I upgraded to this frame and pack for a recent Alaska archery goat hunt. I found the frame to be more comfortable than a previous generic frame I have used. There was plenty of room for 4-5 days of gear. I found it versatile as I was able to reconfigure it depending on my needs. Lastly it was very tough. I was able to effectively pack out about 100 pounds of gear including my bow, gear and goat. Only draw back is those pesky zippers. Fabric got caught up in one of them rendering that compartment useless. Overall, I am quite satisfied and will use it on the next backcountry trip."

"The pack would be great if you also purchase the frame to go with it. Without the frame you are carrying the whole load on your shoulders alone. Some kind of waist belt would be great to help distribute the load. My pack was a gift so I will most likely return it for a more suitable style that doesnt require an additional frame to make it complete."

"I liked this pack so much that I have purchased this pack twice. The first one, as a result of my own negligence, was attacked and damaged beyond repair by a four legged critter. The pack is sturdy and light weight. It has ample storage room and the ability to remove the side pockets and top allow you to customize the pack to meet the needs of each trip. The rifle holder feature appears solid but I have not used it yet. The pack frame that goes with this pack is also worth 5 stars for its light weight and durability."
