"Purchased this product May 07 and one collar failed August 07. It cost $9 to send it back. Dogtra will not pay my shipping charge for returned defective product. E collar scheduled to return to N.Y. who knows when, they cannot say, via UPS ground from Carson California. Nothing special here."

"Have had the 1800 NC for about a month now. Really impressed with. Dog loves it. She is 16# Jagd Terrier. A little big for her but she don't mind it. Lasts two weeks on a single charge. Have not had to recharge the trasmitter yet! Only have it on for a few hours a day. Walk her in town now with out a leash. Obey every command and recalls instantly. Only been in snow so far but seems to be really waterproof. No malfunctions yet and don't expect any. Can't explain how happy I am with this unit. I would assume all dogtra produtcs will work for any dog. I really like the range this one has and simple to use. Hope this helps you figure out which one is for you. Happy hunting.
