"This is my second pair of Sorels, first are over 20 years old,back in the time when teal was popular. There still great but needed a pair that was shorter. They kept my feet warm and dry, but my ankles became sore. Maybe a thicker pair of socks would work. I'd recommend them."

"I absolutely love these boots. I am normally a 6 1/2 so I got a 7 and they fit perfect. True they are hard to drive in the first few days, but give them a chance to loosen up. My feet have been warm and dry all winter!"

"I love this boot! I spent a few days online researching different waterproof boots. I live in IL and the winters are cold and wet with snow. I find the boot well insulated and fully waterproof. It is easy on and off for me without lowering the zipper. I found it true to size. I bought it a half size up from my regular size to allow for thicker socks. You will not be disappointed with this purchase."

"These boots are warm but the zipper is not that easy to get up and down and you cannot just leave them zipped and slip them on. They really were not as nice as I would have thought they would be for the price. Glad I got them on sale."

"I currently live in Florida but moving back to Alaska so I have yet to use them (would look funny on the beach). They run smaller than I thought. I usually wear 7 1/2, I ordered an 8 and they still are a little tight to pull on (only around the ankle though). Sorel's are the best boot I have found for cold weather that REALLY last. Can't wait to use them!"

"The boots I had for about 5 years were ski boots that were great in the snow but ths year there was a split near the sole which caused the boots to leak. So I went online and someone suggested Cabelas so I found the waterfall boots and just got them last week, and got to try them in the snow today and they are wonderful. The tread on them grip on the ice and crunch down the snow. I couldn't ask for anything better. Thank you."

"I was hesitant due to some review in purchasing these boots but I am so very glad I bought them. I did buy a size larger and have no issues in zipping up the boots with thicker socks. They are a little stiff at first but after a few wears they are fine. I absolutely love them."

"These are comfortable snow boots to get you through a nasty winter. I actually don't even bother using the zipper, unless I want to tuck my pants inside. Usually I just slide my foot right in. They are a little sloppy in the ankle, but it is roomy enough for extra thick socks. They have kept my feet warm in subzero temps, and have very good traction even in slippery conditions. A good everyday, casual boot that I can wear all day long without sore feet. I got the tan color and they look sporty. Any salt residue has just brushed off with my fingers. It has been so cold that I haven't had a chance to test whether they are truly waterproof, but in snow they are great. They seem to run true to size."

"I live in rural Iowa on a farm where it can get very cold in winter. In fact the wind chill last week was 30 below 0. I got these boots as an early Christmas gift and I love them. My feet stay so warm! They fit well if I have on a thicker pair of socks. The only thing I would suggest is to make sure you have high socks or they can rub a bit. It didn't take too long to break them in either to where they felt really comfortable. Very happy with these!"

"I ordered these boots so I can sit in the bitter cold at football games without freezing my feet. Wow--my feet stay really unaffected by the cold. My only tiny complaint is that the boots are stiff and not cozy to my feet. I will remedy this issue by purchasing lambs wool liners/inserts."
