Sorel Boots,

"I have been wearing Sorel boots for 30 years and I can honestly say you will not find a better pair of boots. I have worn them in -20 deg and in snow and ice with two pair of socks my feet never felt cold. I would also like to commend Cabela for their prompt shipping on my orders and for carrying only quality products. PS I'm 70 years old and have been hunting since I was 16 I know a good product when I see it"

Not waterproof,

"I bought these boots last november for ice fishing. Loved the way they looked and felt. I started wearing them in late fall after temperatures dropped to mid 30s for fishing off the shore. I noticed that both boots leak water. After complaining to Sorel they agreed to accept them and inspect them. So after getting return number I did send them to their warehouse in France. They determined that the boots are faulty and sent me a new pair, but the new pair leak water even worse than the previous. So i wouldn't recommend buying Sorel Caribous, since obviously there should be a recall of these boots."

Boots,

By JoeFootball

"I wore the new boots in Colorado several weeks ago. While there, we received 36"of new snow and yet my feet remained dry and warm. I was also surpised at the comfort of the boot. For a boot this tough, it was also very comfortable."

Pac Boots,

"I have worn Sorel boots for the last 35 years so when I needed a new pair I again went with Sorels. The felt liners are not as thick as my old pair and my toes get cold but for overall walking comfort and fit you can not beat them"

Great Sorel Boots,
December 7, 2008
By ChrisW
from Lakeland, Fl.
|
"These boots are without a doubt the warmest boots I ever have had, plus you can replace the liners. I got mine secondhand and with new liners they are just like new. Very safe. On a rainy day I slipped getting into a treestand 20 feet off the ground and was swinging by one hand from the foot platform of the stand till I could swing over and grab the ladder with my boots and a hand, it was misting and nasty and slipery but the boots worked their magic and I didn't fall. Am ordering a pair for my husband now!!!!"

Foot Investment,
December 6, 2008
By TDG54
from NW Burbs of Chicago

"I was told when I bought my first pair of Sorels in 1975 I should not look at them as a boot, but as an investment. That was 33 years ago. I just replaced those boots this afternoon 12-6-2008.
I wear these for everything I do out doors in cold weather. Temps have ranged from -45F up to 40+F. My feet are never cold or wet when I'm wearing my Sorels, and at 53 years old, I'm looking to get 33 more years out of the new ones.
I've never worn any other boot since I was 20, so I have nothing to compare them to. All I can say is they do what boots are supposed to do: keep your feet warm and dry.
It's about an investment, all right, a foot investment."

"At first I had problems putting these boots on but after I slit open the elastic band down the front of the liners with a pair of scissors, these boots slid on easily. Warm, comfortable, and tough. They are great boots to wear. Perfect for a snowy winter."

GREAT BOOTS,
February 20, 2008
By redbwana338

"I have friends that had these boots for years and recommended them to me. I got a pair for my wife and I and we both love them. These are absolutely the warmest pair of boots I have ever owned. I get great ankle support from them and I really like the removable liners for the occasional drying when necessary. These boots will replace 3 or 4 pairs of previously purchased boots. The tread on them gives great traction in the snow also. I only wish I had purchased these sooner! I can't wait to take them with me to Alaska next year."

Still top of the line boots!,
January 31, 2008
By Ufatz
from Northern Minnesota duck slough

"Harsh weather boots have come and gone but the Sorel stays in the field and at the top of the heap. Great quality and dependable protection from the cold are assumed from the Sorel folks. My only gripe would be that I wish you could get them in a wider fit. You would think a big stompin' ol' boot like this would just naturally BE plenty wide, but if you've got feet like a duck-like some us old guys do- a little extra room would be appreciated. You can't go wrong with Sorels."

Best Boots For Cold Weather Activites,
November 6, 2006
By Gideon106
from New York, NY
|
"My friends and I go camping every winter in the Berkshire hills in Western Massachusetts, often during temperatures well bellow 0 degrees Farenheit. This is the boot that we all wear.
The insulation keeps your feet extremely warm and are comfortable to hike in. The rubber sole has a traction that helps one keep there balance on ice and prevents slipping. It also give a great grip on all kinds of snow.
They are also easy to put on and take off (unlike many other boots), but stay firmly on when wearing them. The most convincing aspect of these boots was when my firend was wearing them crossing a frozen lake, and he feel through the ice and was submerged past his knees. his feet remained dry and warm the whole time.
I highly recommend these boots."
