junk,November 6, 2009
By cugoefrom stroudsburg pa
"these are the worst boot i have ever owned they dont keep your feet warm and its like walking with a pair of ski boots on. I purchased them over two months ago and have worn them at least 5 days a week a few hours everyday and the soles are still stiff and dont look there gonna loosen up at all. Should have never bought them."

Hunting Pacs.,October 7, 2009
By Windwalker7
"The deer season of 2010,I got to test my pacs as it snowed about 6 inches one night. As long as I was moving, the pacs were warm and waterproof, but on stand,my toes got cold. For the money, these boots are a good investment. They are warm and your feet do stay dry. I am glad I had them with me. The temp dropped to 12 degrees and my feet stayed toasty. Cabela's,in my opinion, has very good products."

Great support just a bit too tight,September 15, 2009
By weissCRNAfrom Michigan
"Bought these as I was looking for a new pair of boots for elk hunitng. Although 1200 grams thinsulate the boots are light and offer GREAT ankle support. They will need to be broken in before I go hunting with them. They are a bit narrower than most boots but that suites me fine since I wear a narrow. Still no room for extra socks. Cant wait to put them to use"

Too small,July 10, 2009
By rugermk2from west virginia
"These boots appear to be well constructed, good support from what I could tell buy walking through the house and up stairs. The only problem...TOO SMALL. These boots must run small, I've always wore an 8 1/2 - 9 boot with room to spare. These boots are tight in the toe area and its not because of the insulation. Returned them to Cabelas in exchange for a 10. New ones should be on the way anyday.
Trust me... order the next size above your regular size. Three stars because sized wrong."

Better than I expected,March 31, 2009
By AmpedJakefrom Northern Indiana; Professional Outdoor Cameraman
"Bought these specificaly to wear while filming an outdoor show following a professional ice fishing circuit. These boots kept me warm and dry from -40 degrees in Osakis, Mn all the way through 50 degrees and 4 inches of water on top of the ice in Bomoseen, Vt. fit is good and comfy for a pac boot, the eyes leave a little to be desired but I am satisfied which is a rarity for me and any product."

Great boots,March 3, 2009
By gobluebenfrom Jackson, MI
"Purchased these boots for my father, who had a hip replacement two years ago and has been very sensitive to the cold, especially in the feet since. I am happy to report, no more complaints of being cold. He is "old school" and thought I paid more than I should have, but has now decided, "Well, they are warmer than my old ones!" Knowing my dad, that is a huge compliment to these boots."

Snowy Range 1200 Boots,March 2, 2009
By danyboynorthernminnesotafrom Hibbing, MN
"So far very good boot. I still need to break them in more to form to my feet. Used them this past weekend out on the ice. Not too cold, 13 below. Kept my feet warm just fine, and I was doing quite a bit of standing in one place. Many people seem to think that if you buy any kind of boot with a low temperature rating they think your feet will be kept perfectly warm just standing in one place. Not so. You must move. I moved around but not alot. And yes I purchased a whole size larger than what I normally wear. I wore a Cabelas lining sock under my wool socks. The boots did a good job of keeping me comfortable. A good purchase. Good job Cabelas."

Poor Boots,February 23, 2009
By AlaskaOutdoorsmanfrom AK
"I have always had good luck with Cabelas boots but these things didn't cut the mustard. I have a 600 gram pair of Cabelas boots that keep me warmer than these things. The rubber toe is too small and cuts the circulation in your toes which I think might be the main issue with these boots. Granted I'm in Alaska but the first trip I wore them it was around 5 above and my feet (toes) froze. They seem to be made pretty tuff, but not warm or comfortable. I sent them back in exchange for a pair of Predators."

These boots are great.,February 23, 2009
By P268from Petersburg. IL
"I have to say that these boots exceeded my expectations. They are warm and the water rolls right off of them. The snow cant get in. I had such a hard time finding a good boot. Even when I walk they are contoured to the way a person walks. So comfortable. I would recomend these boots to anyone."

Not as warm as I'd like,February 22, 2009
By Bearded
"Good solid durable boots but not as warm as I'd like or thought they would be. I had 400 thinsulate boots that were warmer. So much for buying sale items I suppose. You may want to go even two sizes bigger to fit more socks."

Great Value! Excellent Quality!,February 21, 2009
By EmandJimfrom Southeastern, WI
"If your looking for an all-purpose winter boot, these are for you! I have done multiple searches looking for a boot that had all the important qualities my husband was looking for as well as one that didn't cost an arm and a leg. We were so pleased with these boots. The first thing my husband said when he tried them on was, WOW! I can't believe how light these are but feel really sturdy too! I often read reviews since I trust what "real" people say then some advertiser. So trust me these are great! We went ice fishing the other day during a rare warm WI day and stood in standing water on the lake. My feet got cold after about a few hours but my husband stayed toasty warm and dry as a bone. (I'm thinking about ordering a pair for myself). Conclusion: warm, waterproof, rugged, well made. In regards to the size, my husband wears a 9 1/2 and we ordered a 10, they fit perfect. If you order these boots, you will not be dissapointed! Thanks Cabela's!"

Big feet Big boots,February 9, 2009
By BigBoyScoutfrom Staten Island
"Boots are quite comfortable and roomy enough for the larger socks. Keeps feet dry from the snow and wet mud which in turn will keep them warm. Only draw back is that the final laceups are hooks and not eyelets, otherwise a 5 star purchase."
