"Wore this mask on a Black Bear hunt in Maine. Bear walked out 24 yds. from me and never hesitated. Mask is comfortable and light weight. Looked at others but really like this one. Bear looked my way twice and then I took the shot. Nice 175 lb. bear."

Great for turkey hunting,
July 21, 2009
By Baituser

"I ordered this for turkey hunting since my other mask was junk. I like this mask cause you can pull down to your neck. This is great cause we move around a lot and i can just pull it down. The mask also goes back up great and fast."

Second mask,
May 24, 2009
By outlawdon
from Long Island, NY.
|
"I ordered one of these mask last waterfowl season and love the Camo Skins mask so much I ordered one for Turkey season ( different Camo pattern) Both camo patterns were perfect. It feels nice to the Skin and keeps you warm if temps are cool and cool when temps rise. Don't think your going to use this mask when temps drop to freezing along with high winds. BUT... it is worth having one on IF they do. My point I don't like heavy gear on covering my face when hunting the Camo Skins fit the bill."

Cabelas Camoskinz 3/4 mask excels,

"I enjoy hunting with a 3/4 mask. I can place it around my neck and have it available at a moments notice. After trying the camoskinz mask turkey hunting this year, I can say that i'm retiring my mesh mask to back-up status. the material is comfortable in cool and warmer weather faced in the Spring."

"This mask is the most comfortable I ever wear.
Suggestion : have it in white for snow geese hunting and a hole for the mouth will be very useful for operating a call."

comfortable and well made,
November 18, 2008
By Dreamwaters
from Nova Scotia, Canada
|
"I tried a mesh version of this and it was itchy - hurt my forhead at my hat-band. My buddy suggested this one and I love it. Much more comfortable and does not interfere wiht your ball cap staying on your head. Also, you can pull it right down around your neck without taking your hat off. In the muddy places where I hunt you don't want ot have to put anything down on the ground. Use it for ducks and deer."

"This is a good lightwieght facemask for early season hunting. I've worn it during bow season in 75 degree heat and it breathes great. The only issue is that it gets stretched out easily but it regains its form."

Camoskinz face mask,
February 8, 2008
By Blues5
from Charlottesville, Virginia
|
"I use a face mask regularly while hunting. The Camoskinz 3/4 mask provides visual camouflage as well as a measure of insulation and wind protection. At the same time, the multidimensional stretch qualities of the fabric allow it to conform closely to the face. Unlike other designs, it does not move around on the face when you turn your head. Finally, the fabric is so compact that it takes up practically no room in your pocket. I have two different pairs of Camoskinz gloves (liners and shooting gloves), and this mask makes a good companion for them."

3/4 facemask,
February 6, 2008
By Joho75287
from N. MS
|
"Worked great in the blind combined with a hat. I would have liked one available with a mouth hole, so I could call without removing the mask, but I made that modification with a pair of sicissors. The "weight" of this mask was perfect for all weather. It kept the wind from biting when it was 12 degrees and wasn't too hot to wear when it was 50 degrees. All in all it is a good addition to my kit..."

Mask,
January 9, 2008
By rollyboy

"While the mask worked ok, on cold mornings when I'm ready to shoot, my breath travels out the top of the mask & fogs up the rifle scope to the point I can't see through it. I have to lower the mask so it is positioned below my mouth."

"This is a really good mask. It fits snug and doesn't get wet like the cotton ones from your breath. My only complaint is that he seam is in the front of the mask and goes across your nose and mouth. Good mask for the price!"

Not Satisfied,
December 29, 2007
By jpw1
from Pacific NW
|
"Do not purchase this product if you wear shooting glasses, and shouldn't all of us? The opening is too small for the glasses, the mask isn't breathable in front of your nose and/or mouth so have the choice of fogging your glasses with each breath or pulling the opening over your nose. When pulled free of your nose, the opening for your eyes pulls down over your eyes, repositioning your glasses. Does it keep you warm? No. I wore it in 36F sleet and wind and nearly froze. Does it provide camouflage to cover your face? Maybe, but I had ducks flair in front of me with my nose exposed. Oh, and the outer surface of the material is slick enough I lost my billed cap several times in the wind. I'd call this a major disappointment. To improve this product: 1) Provide an opening in front of the wearers mouth. This will facilitate blowing a call too. 2) Add a band of something like the loop material used for velcro to help hold ball caps on. 3) Add a layer of microfleece inside the face to reduce the impact of wind chill and reduce the "clammy" feeling."
