"It's a great jacket, only thing I have bad to say about it is if you do a lot of walking it tends to get quite warm and it holds in the moisture. I hunted moose in northern Sask. this fall with it and endured a lot of rain and it kept me nice and dry."

"wanted to go elk hunting and have some gear that was rain proof and quiet. this is rain proof but not quiet enough to walk through the woods and brush ."

"Rained pretty heavy during my hunt, and I noticed that the jacket leaked where I carried my rifle on my shoulder. It did not "breathe as advertised and I had to unzip in order to vent. Jacket was otherwise waterproof and very durable. It did not pick up burrs and survived several runs through thick Alaskan brush."

ES1 RainSystem: a week in the BC brush,

"Purchased a jacket and pants to take moose hunting first week in October near Prince George, BC. The gear was very functional: dry inside, breathed and pretty quiet in the brush.
Upon wearing for a week the zipper started to bind on the jacket, but Cabelos exchanged for a new jacket. Good tough material, but wish the zippers were different. Very good value for the money."

Stillhunter ES1 RainSystem,

"I bought two pairs of the paints/coat, one as a gift. The outfit is lightweight and soft to the touch. I took a pair out with me bow hunting and expected some rain. The outfit was cut large enough that I had no trouble putting it on over layers of clothing. The camo blended perfectly with my scent lok clothing but I did notice a slight plastic odor that seemed to come from the waterproof liner. My two main concerns are deer smelling the outfit and its breathability during hiking. The hood fit well and has a drawstring to adjust to your head. Pant legs have snaps at the ankle so that you can keep the cuffs off the ground. Hand pockets are large enough to accept gloved hands. The suit will do well if just standing or sitting but I would be careful about walking through briars or snagging the clothing on brush due to the thin material. Overall the Stillhunter is a fine product if you take appropriate precautions."

"It looked like a great product. I ordered the gear on-line. It arrived the day before I went on an fishing and bow hunting outing. I arrived at my Canadian Blackbear Hunt and immediately needed rain gear. I put the jacket on and found that the stitching had come apart and the hood would not gather properly around my head and face. I got very wet. I have sent it back for repair/replacement.
My first week long trip in the rain was not a good experience.
The craftsmanship was poor and disappointing."

"This jacket did its job in the rain and kept me dry and warm. The material breathes well and I did not get excessively hot while walking with it on. The only thing I worry about is that the material seems weak and will catch onto something and rip."

"I returned the raingear and re-ordered the gore-tex raingear. The ES1 is supposed to be breathable but the inner liner felt like plastic or vinyl and I didn't like the plastic feel against my skin. Can't beat the gore-tex!"

"this is a superbly lightweight and waterproof jacket - ideal for putting into a rucksack and donning if the weather deteriorates.great for stalking wily fish (as i do in the u.k.).with lightweight tackle in tow.one slight glitch-the zipper is 'left-handed'."

"100% bone dry! This rain jacket is super super quiet!! Hard to find rain gear that is as quiet as this. Super light weight as well. Will stuff up into a little pouch and tuck away very nicely. I've been more than pleased with this jacket- the dry plus is just as good as gore-tex in my opinion so don't worry that it doesn't have gore-tex. A great value as well."

"I used the ES1 jacket several times this past bow season and was greatly impressed with its light weight and also quietness.
It is cut large enough to fit over warm clothes when the rainy weather was in the 40's and 50's.
I would definitely purchase again."

"Another great product from you that delivers 100 %. I had poor and very damp results for years trying to stay out in the rain while hunting untill this rain jacket became a part of my gear. I stay out as long as i wish and even all day in a steady down pour, im dry as a bone and very comfy. I like the hood set up as the visor keeps the rain well out in front and away. Its very light and makes no sound to alert the great ears of the whitetail buck. I have told my friends to get this ES1 system with complete confidence, thanks again for a product that works!"

"These are the best Iv've ever owned. It rained 5 straight days during our wyo. hunt. Very light,quiet and completely dry. I didn't get wet from the inside out either. That's impressive when your on the move a lot. They never failed even enduring the rough treatment of horseback riding and heavy brush and tree limbs. My hunting mates were thouroughly impressed when I would come in dry while they were drying themselves out. I hate wet. buy em!"
