"This must be the fourth or fifth watch cap I have bought now and only because I keep finding another useful place to keep them stashed for when the weather gets tough. In Scotland that covers most of the year. The cap is perfect- its warm, windproof and folds into even the smallest of pockets. Well made and awesome price."

Too Dang Small!,

"I had a couple of these that I picked up at a Military Clothing Sales store on base a while back, and love them. However, on a recent TDY I lost one, so I was looking all over for a replacement. I was excited to find one of my favorite stores, Cabela's, had them, so I ordered a pair (just to have a couple of spares).
Unfortunately, they arrived today and despite being made by Polartec like the original, they are much smaller. These watch caps are useless unless they can cover your ears. My old ones do, but these do not (they barely cover the top of the ear).
So, it is disappointing that I still haven't found an exact replacement for the one I lost in Germany. The base no longer has them in black (only sage), and my hunt will continue.
Bummer..."

"I was looking for a thin, lightweight cap to carry with me in my coat. This cap fits the bill. It's a little tight (maybe my head is large) but it'll relax after some usage I'm sure. The fleece is nice and dense and seems to block the wind fine. Because it's thin and pulled all the way over your head it works great together with a hood. When it's seriously cold I wear my Cabelas mad-bomber hat but this does fine for shorter exposures in higher temps."

"I got this cap just days before single digit temperatures hit our area. I had to go rooftop early one morning to service an HVAC unit and this cap performed extremely well, keeping my ears and head comfortable even while exposed to the open-air environment on the roof. I'll keep this one close by until winter's long gone. It's my new favorite!"

"Best purchase I ever made. Who would have thought it would be under $10.00.
A shaved head and winters don't go well together. This thing makes all the difference in the world between comfort and my ears being on fire in the cold.
I haven't found it necessary yet but I imagine if you put a hat or something over this (It's not nearly as thick as a knit but not thin either) your head will be on fire.
Pros: Cheap head wear that gives great warmth and looks good. Compacts - Can be thrown in a small pocket and pulled out and look like new.
Cons: I don't have a big head and this fits me absolutely perfect. If you have a really large head you might wish to reconsider."

"When you pull out of the package, The thought this can't be warm rolls thru your head. This is the warmest hat I own. If Cabela's decides to offer it up in camo and blaze, I'll buy one of each and give some camo ones out for gifts. Great product at a great price. I highly recommend it."

"I bought one of these a while back and love it. It's heavy enough to be warm in all but the coldest conditions, but lightweight enough that it isn't too hot on those in between days. When it's really cold I just throw another hat over top. It could be a bit bigger, but I have a big head so I have that problem with almost any hat."
