"Insulated Kangaroo Featherlight Boots are what is advertised, lightweight,warm, and comfortable from the first time I put them on. I will say that they are not water proof until I used a good boot grease on them. After treating them, I have worn them in rain and snow and my feet have stayed dry."

"This boot comes in a B width which is highly unusual but I'm glad because it is a great boot. Light weight easy to tie with the speed lacing. My only regret is the boot runs about a half length too short. Iwear a 12B and I don't believe they make them in half sizes past an 11. If you wear any other size less than a 12 order them up one-half size longer. The width is true."

"So far, so good. I've had the boots about a month and have worn them in wet grass and mud. Before I wore them at all, I tried to soak them with Cabela's Silicone, but found that it wouldn't penetrate the coating already on the boots. After applying a liberal coat of Cabela's green boot dressing, I began wearing them in wet conditions to see if other reviewers' complaints about lack of waterproofing was going to be a problem for me. So far, it has not. Obviously, the boots aren't Gore-Tex and will leak if I stand around in mud puddles and streams for very long; but so far, in wearing them in normal wet grass and muddy woods and trail conditions, they have been just fine. The real treat is how they fit right out of the box, and how they seem to be wearing in very quickly--very comfortable boots, and a delight to wear because they're so light. As I said, so far so good--but I'll have a much better idea after the first complete bird season."

"I have purchased this boot for several years and I love them. They are so light weight, wear well and keep your feet dry. They are an ideal all season boot. This is probably my 5th. pair. The only reason I am giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is they do not come in a C width. I really wish they did as that would improve the fit."

"An excellent, lightweight hunting boot. I have both an insulated and uninsulated pair. I would recommend this boot to anyone for upland, turkey, and dove hunting; and for just plain walking in the woods. One of the boots lasted in a 'B' with.
I had to up-size to a half-size larger for my size-11.5 B normally to a 12B for proper fit. The insole comfort insert seems to push the heel forward a bit for me."

"These are good quality boots - BUT - I bought the size that fits me in other Cabelas brand boots, 12EEEE, and had to return these because the toe box was much narrower and even shorter than the other Cabelas boots I have. It would be nice if Cabelas could do a better job of standardizing the way the same sizes fit among Cabelas brand products. I've had this happen with other items such as shirts."

"This is my second pair of Kangaroo Featherlite boots. I've had the first pair for several years and they are the most comfortable boot I've used while hunting. I do a lot of walking and at the end of the day my feet feel fine. The insulation helps on those cold mornings. The Kangaroo skin is tough and can take a lot of wear."

"Had another pair for years and still have them but needed a second pair to leave at our northern house. Probably wouldn't use them for ice fishing but for any other use they are light weight and comfortable. They also hold up quite well."
