"I HAVE USED THIS TO TRANSPORT TWO SMALL RIFLES AT ONE TIME ALSO A COMPUTER AND GEAR ON ANOTHER TIME, AIRLINES ARE KNOWN FOR BEING DESTRUCTIVE ON ANY THING YOU FLY WITH. THIS CASE CAN TAKE IT, ITEMS INSIDE DO NOT MOVE AROUND NO NEED TO CUT OUT FOAM TO FIT ANY THINGS , TWO THUMBS UP, WORTH EVERY PENNY SPENT. EXTREMELY HAPPY WITH PURCHASE. "I use this case for storing and transporting two Marlin lever action rifles I own; my 1895 45-70 guide gun and my 1894 44 magnum rifle. I have to say that this case seems to be custom made for two such rifles as they fit perfectly. I even have additional room for my 45 Colt revolver. This case is beautifully crafted and is the best case I have seen, as its shorter length makes it less cumbersome to carry two lever action rifles, or for that matter, any two rifles that are less than 42 inches in length. I would definitely recommend this bullet proof case without any reservations. The quality of construction is simply outstanding!"

Cabelas Bullet Proof Encore / AR-15 Case,July 15, 2008

"I bought this to use with 2 carbine bolt action rifles. I do have the longer double rifle case too, but for carbine rifles that are @ 42" or less OAL you can use this as a double rifle case too without the extra weight and bulk. I love it. It is kinda heavy for a single gun case but it's built to take abuse so I'll live with the weight to know the airlines aren't messing up my precious guns. I like the newer angled corners and the spring loaded handle too. Big improvements over the older design. I don't use the security rod. I have had some bonehead airline security guy forget to put the rod back on before on my original double rifle version of this, been using it ever since without the rod. I wish the rod were attatched with alittle chain or something so they can't leave it off by accident. Overall a good case, a bit pricey, but likely the best product in it's price range. 4 stars because there is always room for improvement."

"The bullet proof rifle case is built like a tank and just as tough. I bought the AR-15 case for my 450 Bushmaster carbine. What's even better I can also get my 6.5 Grendel upper in the case with the 450. The only thing that would make the case better would be for it to have pick & pluck foam."

"I purchased a Cabela's "Bullet Proof" TC Encore/AR-15 Rifle Case for a Wyoming hunting trip. The case was more than I expected. Plenty of room for Rifle, extra barrel, shells and optics. The padding inside kept everything in tip top shape even with the airport battle scars on the outside. Nothing had moved when uncased. Scope was dead on like it was before I packed it. I would highly recommend to anyone who plans on airline travel to give this case a good exam. Your decision will be easy then."
