"My only 2 complaints about this case are 1) it's very heavy and 2) it doesn't seal out the weather. It's basically an AL box w/ good hinges and good latches. If you are looking for weather protection too, look at a resin case."

"I specifically selected this case because of the protection it provided and the lighter overall weight of the case. In short I needed maximum protection with the lowest weight possible due to the restrictive costs of over weight limit baggage when traveling overseas.
I liked the way the wheels were integrated into the body of the case. This was very helpful to keep them from being broken off during baggage handling and transfer.
I liked the locking system to prevent unauthorized entry.
I took my two prized rifles to Namibia and one of the few things I did NOT have to worry about was whether my firearms would arrive safely!!!
THANKS FOR A GREAT PRODUCT!!!!! P.S. When you aren't "busy"..... could you make up a set of locks that comply with the TSA??? Please read below!!!

"This is the first travel I've purchased and used it this past season traveling to Colorado on my first elk hunt. The case is sturdy, rock solid, and well constructed. The wheeled version is perfect for moving around in the airport and my rifles remained secure the entire trip.
It may have been that Southwest took care of my case but there were no dents, scratches, etc. It definitely did the job and I believe anyone who buys this case will be extremely happy."

"I traveled from Orlando to Texas on a Deer Hunt. The case got some surface scratches but everything inside was fine. I Had friends on trip with other aluminum brand name cases and they got damaged by Airlines. I would recomend this to anyone who wants total protection for guns."

"This product lived up to its name with out a question. Between the UPS delivery truck and the airlines, I think it was a competition to see who could inflect the most damage and to my benefit they both lost. I just returned from a spring bear hunt in Canada and my rifle was spot on perfect. The wheels were a big advantage also, I just used a ratchet strap to secure my luggage to the case and off I went, no dragging my bags or spending money on a luggage cart. Thanks for a great product."

"In a word, this case is AWESOME! I packed 2 rifles with 50mm scopes mounted and 4 boxes of ammo with no problems whatsoever. The wheels are a must have. Fully loaded as described above, the case approches 40 lbs. No weight restriction problems with the airlines though. I highly recommended this case if you care about your equipment arriving in top condition. My previously sighted-in scopes were still dead-on right out of the case."

"I have used a few other companies cases for airline travels before. I bought this one because my other campanies cases are so beat up I am concerned my guns will be damaged on the next trip. Travel with confidence. This is the best case I have ever used. Mine has small dents and a lot of scratches, but my guns are always protected. My scopes never move so I don't need to worry about sighting them in at my destination. I would definitly buy this case again. I don't regret it at all. GET THE WHEELES!!!!! I am so glad I did."

Very good case but one problem,August 3, 2007

"Overall this heavy case is quite good. I got the one with wheels and am very glad I did - it makes life a lot easier for a few bucks more! Two rifles fit nicely and are held snugly when the case is closed. The case is very robust and absorbs punishment EXCEPT when it gets hit broadside. My case arrived dented - it had gotten hit in transit and dented badly even though there was a layer of corrugated cardboard over it. (You would think it would be packed better!) I hammered it out, figuring the case would not remain pristine anyway. On the first trip it took a lot of hits and the sides are the weakest part - one almost punctured it. The aluminum seems to be a very soft alloy (makes fabrication easier) but it is not the best for protection - the case should be made of a hard alloy. I don't think any other brands are any better so I cut two shheets of fiberglas and put them inside the case against the walls. Heavier now, but a lot stronger and I am again glad I got the wheels!"

"I purchased the case to take additional shotguns to Argentina. The case withstood the rigors and abuse of our two airlines. I wish I had purchased the model with the duffel bag tote. If I could make a recommendation it would be to add TSA approved locks in the middle section."

"I took the case to Saskatchewan deer hunting and it did great. The trip put a few small dents in the case but the rifle arrived in perfect condition and did not require scope readjustment (that's the whole reason for the case). GET ONE WITH WHEELS. The case is somewhat heavy. The wheels and spring loaded handle work great. This is not for weekly use going to the hunting camp a few hours away by car, but if you are going by air, you need it. By the way, I got a 150 class whitetail. I was thrilled."

"I have flown with this case twice and it is pretty beat up already. A lot of dents! The aluminum rivets were loose after the first use. I hammered them tight and after the next flight they were loose again. Good concept but it needs some improvements to be a worthy investment! For this price I would like to see better padding on the inside edges."

"How much do you love the firearms you own and use? Are they heirlooms from someone whose hunts with you are now only treasured memories? Irreplaceable at any price?
I've arrived at enough disappointments, spent enough time hastily trying to re-zero a rifle because someone couldn't be bothered to "handle with care" the keystone to my trip's success. There are no "last minutes". That time always takes away from other things to do in preparation for a hunt, some of which suffer in translation.
This is the toughest case I've ever seen -- anywhere; and I'm not easily convinced. I looked and compared for over a decade before I made up my mind.
When they cut the corners of it, an engineering change that makes it even stronger, even more resistant to the sort of indifference that routinely characterizes baggage handling nowadays, I knew at least somebody was serious about making the strongest case they could produce; serious about protecting these tools of mine that are more than tools, they're the 'living' company of those who are no longer with me on the hunt, but who will live in their instruments I carry as long as I guard them, and who 'go' afield with me to echo the great primeval union we call the hunt and the mystery of ancient stirrings shared that unite us in ways unspoken and unutterable.
My vow to that 'unbroken line' is that I will never again arrive to repeat our common heritage without their gifts to me tuned as perfectly as I can make them. And this "bulletproof case assures me that I'll keep that promise until those who follow me keep for their 'silent company' the same unbroken vow."
