"The case right out of the box looks great, however after two fights and a number of trips down conveyor belts including one drop off the baggage carousel, it became visibly dented and scratched. For esthetics the next time I would get a plastic case.
The other problem I had was that my Bushmaster AR -15 with fixed handle barely fit width wise into the case. If I had it scoped it would not have worked.
The squeel when the look rod is removed disturbed those with tender hearing, but after firing a rifle my hearing is not all that sensitive any way.
The bottom line is that it works and is sturdy even if it looks battered and bruised after just two flights, it now has character."

"This product is tough enough to protect a scoped rifle from airline baggage handlers and other hazards. It is well built of quality materials. It is well worth the price, considering the overall cost of a hunt and the mental anguish that arises if the rifle arrives damaged or has lost zero. A scoped rifle is a rather snug fit in the case. A 50mm scope mounted on high rings could be more than snug. The interior dimensions should be listed in advertising. All of my rifles fit the case OK but there could be problems with some rifles."

"Absolutely no complaints. I used it to ship my scoped rifle by both freight and airline. The case got superficial scratches, but no dings. The rifle and scope were still perfectly zeroed after each trip."

"Bought this for a trip to Wyoming. TSA rules require you to pack you ammo with your rifle, in original cases. I had a .300 Ultra Mag with a 44mm scope and could not close the case with the gun and 2 boxes of ammo. Case seemed well constructed, just should have purchased the double."

"I just used the case on trip to Turkey besides protecting my rifle during 3 diferent flights,I used it like my personal safe keeping all my valuables when I was afield.I can see on the case sides that it was really handle with no care,but my riffle did not suffered any problems."

"Not only is this case great to use for travel, it is also a secure place to store your weapon at home. You can be sure that a child will never get into this case if you keep it locked. It may not be like a home safe but as far as child safe it sure is close, if not as secure."

"This case kept my scoped rifle safe flight after flight after flight. Lighter in weight than other cases I have, it was easier to haul around airports. The one problem I had was that the two tabs that hold the security bar in place were not close enough together to use with any of my TSA locks, so I pitched the bar and used locks on the individual tabs."

"I booked a moose hunt to B.C. Canada this year and thought it would be a good idea to upgrade my gun case from a plastic to metal case. After looking at many different models, I purchased the Bullet Proof One Large Scoped Rifle Case. One of the first things that caught my eye was the corners of the case being cut at a 45 degree angle. I thought that would help on impactsand to keep the corners from getting beat up. When I received the case, I was very happy to see the quality, of not only the welds, but the locking rod is a great way to only need one lock for transporting your weapon. My rifle fit beautifully, and veryu snug. Upon reaching B.C. for my hunt, my guide took me to check the zero, it was still dead on after three plane changes. the best thing I can say is this is a sturdy, well built rifle case that will protect your weapon no matter were you go, or how rough you treat it, everything inside will be in the same condition as when you put it in and closed it up."
