"I have worn this boot for years, in all types of hunts, from arizona cous hunts to south dakota pheasant at -14 with 20 mph winds,and late season colorado elk , I bought a 2000 gram pair of cabelas, and never had to use them, Rocky makes a great boot, lite and easy to walk in, I have had these at least 6 years and will get a new pair in case they discontinue these."

Bad Stitching Design,

"These are the most comfortable things I have ever had on my feet, extremely easy to get on and off, and the color does not fade after heavy use.
But after 1 year of decent use, the stitching on the toe is warn away and the boots leak, even in wet grass. I had one pair that did this, but because they were so comfortable I gave them a second shot and got a new pair. Same problem at the same time, all four boots. The problem is raised stitching on toe that gets warn away. Perhaps taping or sealing the stitches with something strong will save new boots."

"This "Lynx" sole pattern is the best Rocky offers...the boots are very light and comfortable...if you remember to order your size in a "wide'. I purchased a uninsulated pair too for warmer days. I called Rocky direct to ask about these boots...I was told they were discontinued years ago..I call Cabelas they have plenty in stock and more on order...The Cabelas "product specialist" knew more than the manufacturer customer service. That's why I'm a Cabelas guy!"

"Although the boot looked well made ,I ordered wide so as to wear wool socks. I have a medium width foot . I could not even wear cotton socks, these boots are not wide . At best the wide width is a narrow medium . They have been returned."

Definitely not a wide boot,

"My only complaint is that they are not made for wide feet. I ordered the wide size and there is no way it can be correct since I really don't have that wide a foot. They are extremely narrow. Best advice is to try the boot on first. I will never order a pair again."

"I purchased these boots to wear at work during the winter. They are very lightweight and have great traction. The downside was that I had to return the first pair I bought to exchange for a wider pair. I have worn standard width boots and shoes my entire life but the standard width on these rockies is too narrow and will cause you nothing but pain.
After receiving my replacement pair (and after about 2 weeks of break-in) I am satisfied."

"We got these boots for our 13 year old boy and they are great. Kept him warm and dry, even after he took off his snowshoes and trudged in the melting two foot of base snow in the woods in upstate lake effect snow country. We are very pleased with the boots."

"My wife bought me the Rocky Lynx Boots for Christmas. She gave them to me early so I would have them for the first day of deer season.
That 1st morning I was climbling down from my tree stand to the ladder when a limb I stepped on broke. I fell 25 ft. straight down, landed on my feet and rolled over on a big stump. I was able to walk to my truck with help from the guys I was hunting with. They took me home and my wife drove me to the ER. The doctors were amazed that I did not break my ankles or my legs. I did suffer a broken vertabrae in my lower back from the compression and nothing else. I know the boots cushioned my fall and saved me from more serious injuries. I have recommended these boots to everyone I know. They may have just saved my life."

"My Father has a pair of these same boots and has for about 4 years. None of the things that i see in the other reviews have ever happened. He wears his on a hog Farm in the winter and hunting in the fall. I would recommened these boots for anyone from jon doe to my best of friends ."
