Live up in Colo. canyon where ground is hilly and full of rock shale...plus mud and sloppy snow when weather wet. "I had a dire need for a good pair of 6" boots and had resolved that my 61 year old feet deserved a good ride. To my surprise, after looking locally for several days, I could not find a pair that my feet deserved. One evening, I remembered a pair of outstanding upland boots that I had purchased from Cabela's several years past. I quickly went to the laptop and... with a few key stokes...a familiar logo appeared.
Reviewing the vast selection was not an easy task, but this pair of 6" boots just jumped out at me as "look no further".
Needless to say, I have not regretted the purchase for a single moment. The leather quality is superb. The fit....fantastic. I figure that with a little TLC, these boots will last me well into my Senior years....and then some."

"These boots seem to be of good quality. I have not had a chance to use them yet, so I can not attest as to their longevity. The reason for my review at this time is to help others that may be thinking about ordering these boots. My shoe size is a 10 D, however, a 10 D in these boots is extremely narrow, it even appears so when you look at them! Even though I never wear a wide size, I had to exchange these for a 10 EE, which fit nicely. So, if you normally wear a wide size, I don't think you will find a fit with these boots. The Cabela's staff is great on returns and exchanges, but who needs the added expense of shipping items back and forth! I just hope this review saves someone that hassle."

"I was disappointed with these boots. They do scuff easily and they do not break in quickly. I wore them all day long and my dogs were barking by days end. No sense adding thick socks as this will not make them any more comfortable. They are waterproof with the gore tex lining."

"Having been thru all the name brands and off brands, my search is done. I've worn these boots almost a year now, an excellent tough boot. Heavy equipment mechanic work in the shop or field, I recommend. I wear these boots sometimes 16 hours a day. This is the only pair of work boots that haven't given me trouble and last. No problems with blisters or tight spots. Most comfortable I've found ever. Just give them a little breakin period. These boots really do work!"

"I am very hard on boots, and usually do not get a year out of the name brands. I have never bought the same pair twice. I hope that changes with this boot. So far I am happy with these boots and I am hoping to make this boot the one I stick with. They are light and comfortable. My only complaint is the insole is a little hard. "These work boots are a great buy for both their price and their usability. I go through an average of two pairs of workboots per year. So far these are holding up better than some of the more expensive boots I bought somewhere else.
