"Overall, great boots. I havent got a lot of use out of them yet, but they feel very durable and you cannot beat the weight, they are super light! I wore Iron Ridge's for 8 years and have never had a boot hold up the way they did and I'm looking forward to anohter 5 years plus with this pair. Super light, super warm and durable."

"I've had these boots for 3 years and overall i have no major complaints. They have kept me warm during many sub-freezing archery hunts and the comfort is good. the only thing that happened was the last winter, the third season, i used them 1 of the boots began to leak on the outer edge. I have owned several pairs of Cabelas brand boots and have been sold on their quality although this was the first pair that i had that began to leak so soon with minimal wear."

"These are the best hunting boots I have ever worn. Lightweight and extremely comfortable. I would recommend these boots to anyone. They keep my feet completely dry and warm, in any condition. "I purchased these boots because my feet get cold during deer hunting season. Unfortunately I didn't get a chance to use them because even though I ordered a 12W the wides are not very wide. The quality of the boot seemed good, but if you have even a slightly wide foot these boots are not for you."

Great cold weather boots!,January 6, 2009

"I've had these boots a couple of years and they have done their job for three fall hunting seasons. They feel more like a pair of comfortable tennis shoes than boots. They are light weight and have kept my feet warm still hunting in ground blinds and tree stands on days in the twenties and above. I've worn them in colder temps, but have used those one-time footwarmers for a little extra warmth.
This last deer season I wore them still hunting on a cold and rainy first day of general firearms. After several hours of on and off rain showers and the dirt in my ground blind turning to mud, my feet stayed warm and dry. Fortunately, having warm, dry boots and wet weather gear payed off with killing a nice buck when the weather "cleared up" in the afternoon. Also was visited by a soaked coyote and the grandfather of all black bears (more like a vw bug with fur) that day. Probably wouldn't have stayed too long and stuck it out that day if my feet were wet and cold.
I also wear these boots around the farm during the winter months and I only wish the soles were a little stiffer for farm chores.
I'm not sure if they were made for long distance hiking. About the farthest I've walked in them has been about 2 miles at one time. They seem to stay comfortable probably because they are so light weight.
I also like the fact that you can get them in plain brown instead of camoflage since I'm not a real flashy dresser."

Excellent Traction - Only good down to 15 degrees,December 29, 2008

"I loved the look and feel of the boot when I 1st tried them on in the store. Talked to the staff and they highly recommended the boots. Hunted in them hard in the WI gun season with no problems until on stand and the temperature dropped below 15 degrees. Feet stayed dry walking through streams. The traction is by far the best I have ever seen in a boot! You can walk on a snowy or muddy steep slope and not slip at all. I am disappointed that my toes get cold on stand in weather below 15 degrees. Normally my feet do not get cold in my Lacrosse Icemans but in single digits my toes got numb in these. Boots are very comfortable for walking but not recommended for late season bow hunting in colder regions in the North. It seems like they went too thin in the insulation in the toe even with a thick pair of socks on. Back to the drawing board."

"The side of my boot had a crease that rubbed on my foot and the 1200 gm was too hot for above 50-60 degree weather. I returned them for the 600 gm that is a bit wide in the toe box but not bad. I put superfeet inserts in mine for a decent fit. Overall I'd recommend as they do have alot of great features, look really cool, and the return policy is the best. I have not tested the waterproofness or durability but I suspect that they'd be fine, look like well constructed boots."

"These boots are very comfortable. However after my second day of hunting with these boots the right one got wet. After walking threw wet areas for a bit my foot was soaked. Im gonna try to exchange them and try them again."
