Virtually no other fabric remains as quiet while withstanding the punishment that a season's worth of contact with
heavy brush, wire fences and other in-the-field obstacles can deliver. The key to the unmatched strength and silence
of this combed polyester material comes from its low-nap, incredibly tight, microweave construction. It also dries
quickly, is breathable and is extremely wind-resistant. Best of all, it won't fade even after repeated washings,
guaranteeing the camo pattern and garment look like new for many seasons to come. The Insulated Hooded Jacket has
the same basic design as the Bowhunter's Jacket, but features a three-piece attached hood and 100-gram
Thinsulate™ insulation quilted to the liner for lightweight warmth. Two large zippered cargo pockets.

"they were advertised to shed burs which is why i bought them. but after a day of hunting i still had quite a few of them on me. other materials make you sound like velcrow when you move w/ burs on you. the jacket was very quiet. just wish it wouldn't get burs like was advertised."

"I'm a bow and riffle hunter. I buy this suite, pant and jacket and i'm not satisfied at all of the jacket. The inside liner (nylon) is very very very noisy??? Too noisy for bow hunt but fair enough for riffle (long shot). Don't know what happen but the pant's are just great??? Don't understand the difference in liner beetween them. I like my suit for riffle and cood temperature and i just buy the same suite with scentlock uninsulated and it is great (the best one) for bow hunting. Thank you."

"This jacket is comfortable and provides sufficient warmth for hunting in North Florida. The two sets of pockets (handwarmer and storage) are big - plenty of storage. I really like the microtex fabric and have other clothing items of this material. One downside of the jacket is the hood drawstring. I wish it had a fastening mechanism to secure it tight."

"While this jacket is designed primarily for bowhunting, I bought it for fishing because of the 10 x 10 zip up pockets.
I wore it some on a recent trip and found it to be plenty warm and also lightweight for the warmth it provides. While it didn't really get very cold, I was very comfortable and felt like it would have protected me and kept me warm even in a blizzard !!
Again, I bought it mostly so I could carry stuff with me in the pockets (digital camera, cell phone, etc.) and have it protected from the weather. There's probably even almost enough room for a 360 size plastic tackle box on each side if I needed it."

"The "perfect" jacket for the early morninig mist or the evening dew! Sitting comfortably in the tree stand on a hot trail covered with scrapes and bordering the rubs. He is out there! You have seen him many times! The wind is right and the air is heavy! He is out there! A slight breeze brings you thoughts of shiver. You pull your Microtex jacket tighter to your chin. You shift your weight in the stand. You let your hand rest inside the warm pocket. Your thoughts shift to comfort and you almost let your eyes close. You know better. He is out there! You shift again. You scrape the tree with the slightest of move. No sound. He is out there! A snap, a rustle, and silence. He is out there. You are ready. "If you want a mild weather jacket that is very quiet this is a great choice. It has large zippered pockets in the front that are great for storing gear as well as hand warmer pockets which I believe are a must. The only negative, which may be too strong a word, is that it is a bit bulky. All in all, I would be more than comfortable recommending this jacket to friends."
