Quiet and as soft as fleece, our Microtex Pants are as tough as denim and shed burs, seeds and leaves.
Virtually no other fabric remains as quiet while withstanding the punishment that a season's worth of contact with
heavy brush, wire fences and other in-the-field obstacles can deliver. The key to the unmatched strength and silence of
this combed polyester material comes from its low-nap, incredibly tight, microweave construction. It also dries
quickly, is breathable and is extremely wind-resistant. Best of all, it won't fade even after repeated washings,
guaranteeing the camo pattern and garment look like new for many seasons to come. The pants have two back patch
pockets and two front quarter top pockets, as well as two cargo pockets on the legs. They also have belt loops and a
heavy-duty YKK® zipper. Will hem to 36", no cuffs. Imported.
Even waist sizes: 30-46. Camo patterns: Mossy Oak® New Break-Up™, Seclusion 3D®, Outfitter Camo™, Realtree® AP HD®,
Mossy Oak® Treestand®.

Great pants,October 21, 2009
By Anonymousfrom Colorado
"I bought them because of the great reviews they had....and I'm quite happy with them. Only wish I had gotten two pairs instead of one. I loved the cargo pockets and I only wish the back pockets had a flap on them, similar to military BDUs, but they do button, so it isn't that big a deal. Great fabric; quiet, warm and doesn't attract burrs."

Nice Quality. Good product.,October 4, 2009
By MOBuckHunterfrom Columbia, MO
"The MicroTex line is a good line of clothing. I have both the MicroTex and the MicroTex Lite. I wear the Lite in the late spring/summer,early fall. And the original weight in the fall/winter. The original weight just seems to be a little warm for anything above 75 degrees. The only reason I give it 4 rather than five stars is the fact that they are not burr resistant, nor do they shed burrs. I can realate to the reviews in which people think that they'll never be able to save they're pants due to the amount of burrs (stick tites) on them. I have spent an hour scraping the little things off my pants after a fall deer hunt. However, I would say that was an exceptional case in which I crossed a unmowed pasture and I usually do not come into cantact with that amount in the woods. Overall they are a durable, wind resistant, quick drying material. Just not burr resistant! Also, I had my pants hemmed at 32" as are all my pants, and both pairs were 4" too long."

great pant,October 1, 2009
By tdilbertfrom Sandy, UT
"These pants worked great. They seemed to atrack more pine needles and briars than other pants, but none of them came through the pant to poke me. My legs stayed comfortable under a wide range of temperatures. I also liked the leg pockets."

very good product,September 21, 2009
By salvelinusconfluentusfrom Alberta
"Have had my pants on for at least 100 field days and a couple dozen washes so far and am very impressed with the material. The microtex is quiet, warm, reasonably water and wind resistant yet still highly breathable; in addition, after many cycles in the wash, the camo pattern has not seemed to fade at all. With appropriate layering, i've hunted in all but the very coldest weather with these pants, for anything from high mountain bighorn sheep to arid prairie antelope. The gripes I have with these pants are largely the same I have for the matching jacket: -The fit is FAR too baggy, even for layering purposes. This makes it hard to avoid snagging objects when in super-stealth mode in the bush, and more likely to catch on things that can tear the pants (e.g., barbed wire). -The more the material is washed, the "fuzzier" it gets. While this does not affect the aforementioned weatherproof and stealthy qualities of the pants, it does compromise its ability to shed burrs."

Tough Pants for hard hunting, Quick Drying,September 18, 2009
By ColoSpgsHunterfrom Colorado Springs, CO
"After reading reviews on this and the Lite version, I purchased Cabela's Microtex uninsulated pants in Outfitter Camo for my recent Colorado High Country Bucks hunt in early September. I was concerned whether these might be too hot and too big/small (I'm a 35 waist and ordered 36). Neither was an issue. Although we did get wet from rain and sweating up mountain climbs, I was very pleased with how quickly these pants dried out (especially since this was the only pants I brought for the week). The pants have a soft comfortable feel, and have lots of pockets/space. They seemed to take the abuse I put them through. They seemed to have adequate wind blocking abilities (we spent most of week above 12000 ft and wind kicked in daily). My only issue with these pants was when my legs got wet, the pants would get somewhat stuck on my thighs when climbing uphill. This was a minor issue that I would solve by just grabbing some loose material around front pockets as I hiked uphill, or until they dried. Ultimately, I am happy to report, we filled our tags and I added some red color the otherwise clean looking camo pant legs. 5 stars."

Microtex pants,September 11, 2009
By Shortpantz52from Wisconsin
"Just purchased my second pair of microtex pants. The first pair are about 7 or 8 years old. Actually have a third pair with windshear but dont wear that pair too much. I've worn these pants in just about every condition except very cold. Have worn them whitetail hunting in the teens for temps.with thin poly longjohns, mule deer hunting in snow, rain and high wind, caribou hunting in chili and windy weather. And if its cold or warm, moving or sitting these pants are comfortable.
Have worn them in rain to but it takes awhile for the rain to soak in but just took them off wrung them out, flapped them like cleaning a rug and put them back on. With this comfort range I dont really care if they fade but I cant really say they have much anyways. And....they're relatively inexpensive! I do have some very expensive hunting clothes but most days I wear the microtex. I just bought the shirt too."

Love the Microtex,September 10, 2009
By NCRobfrom Dillingham, AK
"After two weeks of moose & bear hunting in AK I am very satisfied as to the quality, durability & performance of the Microtex fabric. Very quiet, soft on the skin and dries nearly as fast as it gets wet. I love the outfitter camo pattern and plan to buy more garments of the same fabric and same pattern."

Brooks Range Dall Sheep,August 29, 2009
By WolfmanC17from Anchorage, AK
"I have the microtex in outfitter camo. They pattern, colors, and shades worked well during my Brooks Range Dall Sheep hunt. Pants dried very well WHEN they got wet. They did a really good job at resisting the water even when we crossed a river and the water went above my gaiters."

microtex uninsulated pants,August 27, 2009
By tuckcastfrom PA
"I found the pants to fit more like dress pants than pants for active hunting. The waist fit was fine but the fit in the crotch and thighs was too tight especially for tree climbing. Also, I asked for a 33" hem and got a 35" hem. They're going back."

Cabela's Microtex™ Uninsulated Six-Pocket Pants,August 24, 2009
By PAPredatorfrom Edinboro, PA "Valley of the Big SnowFlake"
"I wear a 36 waist in jeans relaxed fit and a 32 length. (30 length in dress slacks.) I purchased these pants in a 36 waist and a 32 length. The pants fit perfect! Good Job Cabelas!
The product is super quiet. Very soft material, almost fleece like feel, but does NOT look or wear like sweat pants. (The guys won't pick on you for wearing your kids PJs at camp)
They are very comfortable for long hauls and sitting for long periods of time. They won't dig into like a pair of tight Jeans may.
Plenty of pockets... Very similar to the military BDU (Battle Dress Uniform) design.
Gave them a 4 as I just bought them and have not washed them much. I am waiting to see how their durability is."

By baydenocfisherfrom Cadillac,Mich.
"Ok guys I wear a size 38" waist pants wather it's jeans or dress slacks I ordered a 38" waist with a 32" inseam. When I got it and tried it on I had a hard time buttoning the top button so I sent it back and ordered a size 40 waist and it fit like my 38 waist jeans. I like the quality and they are comfortable and I know I will use them alot this fall. Just remember when ordering go up a waist size they hem the inseam so that is no an issue. Good luck huning"

"Great pants. They are quite, shed water pretty good and dries quickly. The best thing I like about the Microtex line of clothing is that the camo pattern stays bright and crisp, even after 30 or more washings. This is only my second set of pants in 6 years. They last."

By huntrlcfrom Missoula, MT
"I LOVE these pants. I have used these pants for years and recommend them to all my friends. I have hunted with them on a Caribou hunt in Canada, warm weather hunts in Arizona and cold hunts in Montana. The material helps break the wind and they dry out super fast. I highly recommend them to everyone."
