Bad cost/benefict,

"It´s a good camo glasses, but unfortunately the light transmition between the enviroment and the eyes is very low. It shades so much our vision when entering into the jungle. For that price I really expected a better product."

CamoVision/BadVision,

By JOHN8815

"Its like looking through a bug screen on a door or window! You will get a double vision at any distance over 15 or 20 yards! I even let other people try them and got the same response from them! Dont waste your money. They dont even block out the sun very well. They do look cool though! I now wear them at work for safety glasses just so I can get my moneys' worth!!!!"

"These are wicked good glasses. I know they're a lot of loot, but believe me, they're worth it. You won't believe the double-takes you'll get. And they can't see your eyes, so you can babe-watch all you want! Oh--yeah, they're great for sporting purposes too!"

"There is a screen type grid on the lenses that make it very difficult to see clearly. If it were just dark lenses without the camo pattern screened into them, then they would be functional.I have not been happy with them at all."

Camo Shades,
November 14, 2008
By Ocellata
from North Carolina
|
"Re the camo part, all you have to do is put on your usual headnet with the shades and look in the mirror. Where I hunt deer from tree stands, there are a couple of places that are otherwise very productive but either AM or PM are facing into the sun. I have also factored that in when placing a climbing or loc-on stand. No more. With the shades it is not only comfortable but also one's vision is still acute facing the sun. An improvement would be to make them graduated in intensity in response to more or less sunlight. Everybody knows about the visual accuity of turkeys (mine aint what it U-2-B). About a week ago, while in a deer stand facing the sun, I had all around me a flock of 14 turkeys, plus additional hens & toms that were hanging back and flying to catch up. One hen landed in my tree, sending down a rain of autumn leaves. She then sailed down to the foot of my stand. A gobbler landed in a nearby tree before hitting the ground. For three hours the flock picked and pecked, feeding up and back, down and over, but never was I busted. I was careful with my movement, but the headnet and camo shades were the key to my invisibility to the turkeys. Great product!"

"I bought these because I was looking for something that did not reflect sun, like my regular glasses. They do not fit over top and reflect a small amount of light but it is good overall. I kept them and will continue to use them."

Camovision sunglasses,
May 1, 2008
By Snipe1
from eastern Pa.
|
"My first impression of the glasses was great. They appeared to be good quality. The camo on the outside is pretty good. The tint of the lens is good- but. However - On the first day of turkey season here in Pa. I wore them. The vision was Very Poor looking through the lens. Vision was very fuzy, even on a sunny day. I could not see fine details through the trees in the woods. I ended up NOT wearing them the rest of the day. I coudn't see as far as I wanted too. I would not recommend them hunting, nor would my father whom also has a pair."

"The glasses look great and are perfect to help conceal your eyes and part of your face. The vision through the glasses is obscured because of the camo coating on the lens, almost like a head-net."
