Cabela's Space Rain™ Ultra Pack Rain Pants - Regular

Packing along camouflage rain pants has never been this easy. This quiet rainwear is the smallest packing camo rainwear we've ever offered, and it's quiet. The pants are cut full so they easily slide over extra layers. Snaps at the cuffs secure them tightly around your boots, and an interior drawcord and elasticized waist ensure a snug, comfortable fit. And they will pack down into the size of a small can in the included stuff sack, so they occupy a minimal amount of space in a pack. They are made from lightweight brushed polyester with a layer of 100% waterproof, breathable Dry-Plus? lamination to ensure you stay dry. Imported. Waist sizes: S-2XL. Inseam: 31". Camo patterns: Mossy Oak? New Break-Up?, Realtree? AP HD?, Advantage MAX-1 HD?, Realtree? AP HD?.

"I WANTED A NICE LIGHTWEIGHT RAINSUIT FOR SPRING TURKEY SEASON THIS YEAR BUT I'M NOT SURE THIS WAS THE RIGHT CHOICE FOR ME. THE FIRST DAY OUT WE ENCOUNTERED A SMALL PATCH OF GREENBRIERS AND NEEDLESS TO SAY THE PANTS RIPPED IN TWO PLACES. I AM RETURNING THEM TODAY FOR ANOTHER PAIR OF THE SAME I THINK THEY WILL WORK FINE IN THE TACKLE BOX BUT FOR HUNTING I THINK I WILL STICK TO THE MTO50."

"I purchased a set of the Space Rain Gear from Cabela's because i wanted a light weight rain gear set to put in my pack for multi day backpack trips. This stuff is awesome. Super light and fits great over my fleece or other hunting clothes. I do wish it were just a little quiter, but if you are trying to stalk Mule deer in the heavy rain, most of the noise is muffled by the rain. I also noticed that it gets quiter as it gets wet and dries very quickly. The only other thing i wish the items had were pockets. I bought the pants and pullover and there are no pockets on either. Spend the extra $10 and buy the full zip jacket....it has pockets."

"These are as advertised. They are very compact and water proof. The only down side is they do not appear to be durable. I pack them in my back pack all the time. If I am in a down poor or a snow storm they are great in a pinch. I would not walk through brushy terain. This is not my primary rain gear it is a back up. I use a Rivers West Ambush Jacket and Cabelas Saddle cloth bibs as my primary rain gear. They also have taped seems and I would line dry them."

"The only good thing about the space rain suit is that it is lightweight and very packable. Other than that if you plan on hunting in it good luck. VERY LOUD - wsh wsh wsh every step you take. And good luck getting them on during an unexpected rain without ripping them with your boots. If you don't rip them with your boots, you'll rip them on the smallest twig you happen to catch. I've ripped them both ways and worn them twice! I just hope Cabelas stands by their product like they always do and take them back. I think I"ll try the rain suede."

"This product is worth it's weight in gold. I went on a 9 day hike/hunting trip in the wilderness and had heavy rains most of the time. These pants held out well and kept me dry the entire time. Very light-weight and easy to walk in and quit too. Easy to get on and off over your boots. The only problem I had was due to the miles we hike and the dirt/mud building up on the insides of the ankle area, it statred to wear a small hole in the lower part of the pants over the ankle on the inside. I would still recomend them to everyone. I really put these pants to the test!!! Money well spent!"

"Wore these pants to field dress an elk in the snow. Within 30 minutes of new, a penny size hole tore in the leg. Will return and exchange for the MT050."

"Just got back from a hunting trip in Alaska. Wore them on days it rained, lasted about 4 of those before tearing in two places. On top of that, was stalking a moose in pretty low brush, couldn't walk without a prettty audible "ZIP,ZIP,ZIP" as the material brushed together. Had to walk kind of bowlegged to get within shooting range. Overall, good to use if you are in camp sitting around and it starts to rain, and even then you should get inside after a while. Would not take into the woods with you."

"Granted this was the lightest rain suit I have owned and I liked the camo pattern. It packed up very easy and is light to carry on any hike, however the super light weight material snagged and ripped on all the buck brush and willows when the material became saturated with moisture. After 3 days of continues use the material seemed to become less and less water proof."

"I love these, especially for weight and easy packing. They are great for long trips and necessary wear. I would not call this product a full time rain suit, but great in a pinch. Went to Argentina shooting doves, expecting little or no rain. An unexpected rain fall hit us for a day and a half and this stuff (Including top) fit the bill perfectly!!..............ac"

"Although the product lived up to its claim of light weight and extremely quit. After seven days of humping across Alaska,s Northern Brooks range and through the tundra. I had torn several holes through the pants. I also caught a spark from the fire that instantly went through the material. This gear may be better suited for the lower 48"
