Best cold weather barn boot ever made,

"I know thses boots are made for rugged outdoor use which they are very good at, Ive snowshoed and used them for winter hiking. What I've found they really are, is the best winter barn boot ever made. I live in Michigan where we had over 100 inches of snow and numerous days below 5 degrees Farenheit. My feet have never been so warm and unlike any other warm barn boot I've tried my wranglers fit over the top to keep the snow and sawdust out and give a nice finished look. After wearing these boots for a week I threw out my other two pair of winter barn boots.

Double Gore boots,

"Great Boots, comfortable once you get correct size. I had to send back as they run small and leather upper can be tight if you order shoe size. I am a 9 but uppers were much too tight where shin comes into ankle at top of foot. Once I went to the 10, shoe fit better and leather upper was much more comfortable. it stopped pushing against lower shin/upper front of foot. I use them constantly at my Adirondack Camp for hunting/fishing/camp chores etc...Like most other Cabela's products, well made and good value...thanks as always."

Warm foot wear,

"Both my daughter and I have a pair.
Our fall weather this year consists of cold rain mixed with sleet and snow.
We have horses and are out in all kinds of weather with these boots on. They are exceptionally warm and waterproof."

"I wear these in Michigan from mid October through April. I keep em by the door and wear them everywhere my wife will let me. Plenty warm for moderate activity, not a hunting boot, just a great keep your feet warm and dry in our fantastic snowy sloppy winters. Going on 3rd year with these, no problems. Tread pattern works very well, not a wimpy looking boot."

"Easy on, easy off. Great to slip on for a quick trip outdoors. Not as much support as lace ups but I didn't expect that either. They seem to be a little narrow for a medium width but they loosen up after some break in time."

"Boots were bought as replacements for some similar boots. They fit snug without being constrictive and are easy on/off. Good support for your arch keeping your feet from getting tired during long days of walking. They hold the heat and should not be worn on warm days as you and your feet will surely overheat."

Great grip, easy on/off boots,

"I haven't had to use these yet for very cold weather since I bought them end of season, but they have great grip on ice/snow which is why I bought them. My old pair of slip on boots had no traction at all and these are great.
The boots fit snuggly around the ankle/leg which makes this boot a better option under jeans as well."

"These boots are very warm, comfortable and easy to get on and off. They have great traction. I live on the western side of the sierras and they have kept my feet warm in the snow. I have not slipped in them once. They are also nice because they are easy to pull on and off."

"Another great product from Cabela's. These are the perfect boots for slipping on and off if your activities take you in and out for the day. Great traction, used them for blowing snow, running out to get the mail, jumping in the car to get the kids, walking the dogs and a hundred other things... They wouldn't be my choice for a dedicated hunting or cold weather fishing boot, but they were terrific all winter as an in/and/out boot for tasks as long as 3 hours."

Good Boots,

"I received these boots via UPS about three weeks ago and have worn them several times. They definitely keep my feet warm and dry. We have had less snow this year where I live at 7775' in the mountains of southern Colorado, but there is still some left on the ground where I go for daily walks on my property, and the boots have passed the test for warmth and dryness. My favorite aspect of these boots is that they do not hold onto mud. With other winter boots I own I wind up tracking mud into the house but not so much with these. The pattern of the outsole is more 'open' than my other boots and does not hold onto the mud. The fit seems fine. I wear a size 10, medium width, which is what I ordered and they are fine especially with medium weight socks. This is the first pair of boots I have owned that are not 'lace up', and I find that because of the pull on style of these that I pick them to wear if I am in a hurry to get outside (faster on and off). I suspect that the slightly lower priced "Cabela's Professional Outdoor Footwear" version is just as comfortable and effective, but I think the appearance of these "Extreme Professional Outdoor Footwear" version is better."

"These boots are great, took them to SunValley, Idaho is 18 degree weather and they kept me warm and dry. I like the fact you can slip them off and on without lacing them up. Especially if you are tring to slip into and out of ski boots. I have a 10 1/2 size foot, so order a size down or 10's, since they run big. Great boots Cabelas, keep up the good work."

just what I was looking for,

"These boots are warm and most importantly have much better traction on ice & packed snow than the "chain link" pattern of similar boots. Best traction I've found short of metal cleats. When It's glare ice I go for my ice cleats but the rest of the winter, these get the nod. My feet are warm and I don't fall down... I'm happy. They work great to pull on and do dog chores and plow snow. They do rub one spot just below the ball of my ankle that would take a bit of moleskin if I were to use them for an all day hike, but they weren't designed for that."
