The large open shapes, earth tones and natural jagged intersections in Predator® Camo demolish your outline and make you virtually invisible in any terrain. Deception™, the newest pattern from Predator®, uses three-dimensional images that eliminate the human form by disturbing an animal's focus and depth perception. This pattern uses a blend of colors that is effective on the ground and in a treestand in any season. The Hooded Insulated Jacket is filled with lightweight, yet warm 4-oz. polyester insulation quilted to a smooth nylon lining. It also combines our tough, yet soft and quiet poly/cotton Silent Weave™ fabric with a Scent-Lok® lining for the ultimate cool weather jacket. The Scent-Lok® lining utilizes activated carbon to trap scent molecules emitted from your body so they never reach the noses of the wary game you pursue. Insulated Jacket also features set-in sleeves for free movement. Two snap-closed cargo pockets. Knit cuffs and waistband. Imported.

Cabela's Silent Weave™ Predator® Camo Insulated Jacket with Scent-Lok®
Prairie Ghost Ultimate? and River Ghost? use specialized blends of shapes and colors to keep you hidden where conventional camouflages won't. Prairie Ghost Ultimate? is a blend of colors that will make you disappear in the open country of the West. The muted shades of green and brown perfectly match those of prairie grasses, sage, and exposed rock and sand. Along with an optimum combination of colors, this pattern has large irregular shapes and defined lines to disrupt your outline at any distance. River Ghost? portrays a combination of large brown cottonwood leaves and dull grays and tans that will make you virtually invisible in river- and creek-bottom cover. From a treestand or the ground, the large diverse shapes and dull coloration fragment your silhouette and melt you into vegetation and terrain. The Hooded Insulated Jacket is constructed of our rugged, soft and whisper-quiet Silent Weave? poly/cotton fabric for years of service. "This jacket has reasonably good construction and range of motion without restriction. The insulation works well and allows me to use it from late bow season all the way into November here in west / central Idaho. The material is quiet and does NOT attract burrs and other vegatation. Also the material renders camo pattern printing o.k., not as detailed or bright as say " Rain Suede" or other materials. A good value for the $$$ spent."

Excellent coat for the money!,October 19, 2009
By passemupfrom Central, MI
"I just got this coat and the bibs to match before oct.1 and have used them alomost every day. Opening morning was 29 degrees and i wore jeans and a sweatshirt under them, the 3/4 mile quad ride was a little chilly but the 1/2 mile walk warmed me up and was warm all morning. I have wore my pajamas under them on the warmer days. I have passed up 6 bucks so far and a couple were straight downwind of me, some does too. I am sold on the scent lok! This coat is not too bulky and feels rather light for as warm as it is. It has good pocket space. Its not super quiet but quiet enough and I think its quite durable."

"TOOK THE NEW SET WITH ME TO WYOMING FOR A 2009 MULE DEER/ANTLOPE HUNT. THE SCENT LOK SUIT WORKED GREAT AND I SHOT A BIG 5X5 MULEY AND A GREAT GOAT BUCK IN THE FIRST TWO DAYS! TAGS FILLED AND NOW TIME TO LOOK COOL WITH THE GEAR ON AT THE LOCAL WATERING HOLE!!"
"i am new at hunting and thought this jacket would be good to start out with. the insulation is very good and very warm. the material was very durable too. what i didn't like about this jacket was the way it fit around my waist and wrists. it had very tight wrist cuffs and the jacket was short at the waist."
Silent weave scent-lok hooded insulated jacket-reg,January 6, 2009
By kdalefrom Dunbar, PA
"Great value!! Fit well & had nice features. Ordered both the realtree & mossy oak new break-up; both colors were nice! Had to send one back because it was for a 6' tall person & the reg size was just not long enough - wish it would've came in tall sizes!"
Nice Jacket,November 28, 2008
By CamoGolferfrom New Albany, IN
"Use it as my outer layer carry in jacket. Works well. Love the Konifer pattern. I am 6'4 tall and bought 3XL regular to accomodate for being my outermost layer. Sleeves were long enough and I would have given 5 stars but I just wished it was about 6-10 inches longer down the back."
Great Jacket,November 18, 2008
By SamuraiWannaBefrom Upstate NY
"I've been waiting till its been cold enough to give a good review of this jacket. So far I am very please with it. A few reviews said it was no good for sub 50 degrees, this may be true if it is your ONLY layer. Today I was out with my Dad, in the snow, high 20's- Under Armour Capture base layer, polartec mid layer, uninsulated silent weave bibs, silent weave button shirt, and this jacket- I was VERY comfortable. I typically do not like rib knit cuffs and waist bands, but they work well with this jacket, they seal off the openings keeping the cold out. If not wearing bibs under I can see how it could easily ride up and expose a lower back to the cold (as another review said), pair it with the silent weave bibs and you'll be fine. My favorite part of this jacket (other than its warm, quite, and comfortable) is the hood, its HUGE, I love big hoods, its nice and roomy so it doesn't crowd you or bunch up your hat and face mask. Overall fit is like a comfortable hooded sweatshirt. Get one size larger than typical, I got an XL (I'm 6'1" ~200 pounds), Its nice and roomy for layers that way. The only thing I cannot accurately review is its scent lock capabilities- I can say that all deer I've seen this year did seem quite surprised if they saw me (while I was walking) or didn't notice me at all, but I don't feel I can honestly and accurately review that aspect of it. Overall Grade of A+"
good jacket,November 18, 2008
By nhhunter64from nashua, new hampshire
"This jacket is everything I expected from Cabelas. The fit was right on the money. I do both bow hunting and firearms for whitetail, so my only concern was the flexability in the sleeves while drawing my bow, I found no problems even with multiple layers underneath. As far as the scent-lok feature, well having both a doe and a buck walk right under my stand from behind should speak volumes. I also own the silent-weave matching pants. What a combo. The jacket provides enough insulation that I did not need heavy layers underneath. If this jacket has a drawback it would be lack of inside pockets."
Nice Jacket..Not much insulation!!,October 18, 2008
By Anonymousfrom Dallas, Pa.
"I wore this jacket out for the first time tonite. It is very nicely built soft and silent. It has alot of roomy pockets and the scentlok is very nice in this style jacket. I really like the seclusion 3d 1st time i've bought any. The only thing is there isn't much insulation very thin. I'm glad i got mine in XL so i could layer underneath. I guess i can't complain for the price though."

"This is the best jacket I have ever had it has plenty of pockets to store stuff. This jacket is also very warm and comfotable to wear and would suggest it to any one I meet who needs a good jacket and the best part is a guy cant beat the price."
Just a bit short,September 24, 2008
By JB78from Aklavik, NT
"The jacket is very good quality. I am a tall guy and sometimes I get away with a regular length (if talls are sold out or unavailable), not with this jacket. It is cut more than forgiving in all other areas. The pattern (Predator) is great, I wish Cabela's carried more of it. I would have given it 5 stars but I think that even a true regular would have a cold back sitting in a stand or a blind in cold weather. Have to make sure that I have a warm pair of bibs to wear with it."
Good jacket,September 5, 2008
By DeerHunternSCfrom S Carolina
"I've had one of these jackets now for about 5 seasons. Its a good coat with the scent lok. The only reason I didn't give it 6 stars is because I don't like the side pockets. And because this jacket will shrink over time because of repeated use in the dryer to reactive the scent lok lining. Other than that, this is a good product for the money. Be careful to buy a size some what bigger if you plan to wear this jacket with layers."
Great Buy,August 22, 2008

"This product is another great deal for the money. It is warm, quite, flexible, and loks in your scent. The only problem with it is that it is not water proof. But for the money you can't complain."
Nice Medium Jacket,June 1, 2008
By Figmanfrom West Seneca, NY
"Fine jacket, roomy, medium weather scent-lok top layer. Its an insulated jacket, not a cold weather parka for sitting in your stand in the snow. Cut so it accomodates under layers if your going from stand to drive and want to peel away a sweater before joing the troops pushing the woods. I also used mine during the 2008 spring turkey season in Western new York which had some unusually cold weather at the end of the season with frost warnings for higher elevations and temperatures in the high 30's and low 40's. Very satisfied with its versatility."
worked good for me,November 10, 2007
By voodoo12from Sioux City IA.
"I was up against a tree hunting the pre-rut from the ground in Iowa. I had a doe and button buck come in at 20 yards. The button buck was about 10-12 ft away and the doe was less than 6ft.(She was so close I could see her eyelashes moving and hear her sniffing the air.) Neither one had any clue that I was there. The pattern did it's job and the scent-lok saved me from them knowing I was there. With no movement from me, after about ten minutes they moved on never even knowing I was that close."
