With its superior penetration and incredible flight characteristics, the Crossfire is a fixed-blade broadhead that flies like a field point with absolutely no loose blades. The three tapered razor-honed blades are fixed on a one-piece, 440 stainless steel cartridge that rotates around the ferrule and is easy to replace. These broadheads are designed with Rotating Head Technology, which allows the broadhead to rotate with the arrow in flight and then rotate to allow it to take the path of least resistance. Screw in the super-sharp, six-sided nickel-plated point and the cartridge is locked down securely. The patented dimples on the cartridge reduce air resistance by keeping air from sticking to the ferrule. And downrange stability is improved by blade winglets that optimize stability and accuracy, and spin the arrow faster. The blades are .040" at base and taper to .027" at the start of cutting edge. Per 3.
Available: 100-grain, 125-grain.
Cutting diameter: 1-1/8".

Skimpy Blood Trails,October 26, 2009
By ByronBowHunterfrom Byron, NY
"These broadheads fly very well and I like the design. But, I have killed 3 deer this year and honestly they were all well placed shots. I am disapointed in the blood trails. Prior to crossfires, I used thunderheads for 15 years. The blades that come with T-heads are scary sharp - I think that is the difference. NAP is a good company, I will probably go back to T-heads next year."

Hated Them,October 2, 2009
By flyboy7172002from Pennsylvania
"For starters, the blades on them were very dull. Second, they flew terribly. I've been bowhunting for 20 years and have used many heads. These were perhaps the worst. I never stuck a critter with them, but I can tell you that they are dull and arrow flight with these things screwed on the front is poor. Try the NAP Nitrons that these are listed with. My buddy uses them and they fly awesome. He shot his bull elk with a Nitron at 13 yds and the thing fell within 30 yds. Just try anything else. These things are a disappointment."

Excellent Broadhead,July 6, 2009
By fishermanrockfishfrom Wilmington, De
"For all the stuff that is put out on the market this broadhead stacks up as one of the best fixed I ever shot.I been building my own arrows for over 20 years.Lot of experince in that. With Quick Spins St's on the arrow it flies like a cork screw.(Recommeded)Spinning perfect in arrow flight. It also has Great Punch!Shot A lot of big deer with this broadhead.Stepped off to try other broadheads and wonder why, when somthing works stay with it.If you are shooting off the mark from your feild points with these broadheads I recommend going to a good archery shop and getting your bow check out top to bottom.Paper shoot it with sombody that has a lot of experence with your bow.I shoot a Mathews Switcback and can't be more pleased. It won't be in the broadhead."

Not what they are cracked up to be,March 17, 2009
By newimage1from Pueblo, CO
"These broadheads flew NOTHING like field tips. My bow has been tuned and gone through several times so it shoots right. These braodheads were off about 16" @ 20 YDS. On top of the poor resemblance to field tips they are LOUD. They whistle when released. I think they are a very poor product. I think the speed of my arrow might have effected the noise and accuracy, as I shoot 326 FPS. I think this is going to fast for these broadheads and causes them to spin eratically and lose accuracy."

Greatest Broadhead ever,March 13, 2009
By Crossfirelegendfrom Spokane, WA
"This free spinning broadhead is one of the most accurate broadheads I have ever used. I have shot targets up to 100 yards on my Hoyt bow using this broadhead. The grouping from this breadhead is even more incredible. I can shoot my bow at 20, 30, & 40 yards and still have groupings in a three inch circle constistently. The broadhead has better flight than any of my field tips ever have. I have shot some of my broadheads hundreds of times into my targets and they seam to remain razor sharp.
I shot my first black bear this year with my bow using these broadheads. The arrow past right through the boar puncturing both lungs. The bear dropped 10 feet from where he was shot.
I would recommend this product to anyone."

GREAT BROADHEAD,October 13, 2008
By MRBOWHUNTERfrom Price, UT
"I have used this head since it first came out several years ago. I have found that when used with an arrow that has a HIT insert these tips fly wonderful. I have taken several Mule Deer and Elk with them and have been very happy with the flight and penetration of these heads. This season I put them up against the G5 thinking they would lose out to a simpler design. I was wrong, the Crossfire flew straighter and penetrated farther. Definately worth the price."

Superior by Design,September 16, 2008
By aquaracerfrom PA
"Throughout the past few years I have tried a number of different hunting broad heads for whitetail deer hunting. Not because I found one inferior to another, but because I am always tinkering around with my setup. It should first be noted that I do not believe in buying the fastest bow, shooting a longer draw length than necessary, (you will generally shoot a shorter-than-normal draw length better than a longer-than-normal length) buying the lightest arrows possible, using tiny fletching, and shooting super light field points / broad heads. An excess amount of velocity is preposterous when you cannot accurately place an arrow where you want it to go. My setup is a 3-year-old Hoyt VTec XT at 62 pounds, and my arrows are traveling at a modest 265 fps. It should also be noted that my bow is in perfect tune. A great deal of archers will call a certain make and model of broad head junk because they cannot get them to shoot accurately. With a perfectly paper-tuned bow and the correct arrow/fletching setup, you will have no trouble getting fixed blade broad heads to fly accurately. The NAP crossfire broad heads are one of the more interesting broad head designs I have tried. The rotating head feature is an ingenious design, which allows the head to more easily lead the arrow through the path of least resistance. They appear to be much more quiet than traditional fixed blade heads. The integrated tabs and dimples also seem to get the arrow spinning more (much like the NAP quickspin vanes. I have not tried using them in combination with these broad heads). These broad heads are scary sharp, unlike the G5 montec heads I was using two years ago. I had the Crossfire completely pass through a doe at 32 yards. These broad heads are definitely the ticket if you want a high quality, fixed blade broad head. All the engineering that undoubtedly went into these broad heads definitely gives them an edge in the field."

Awesome Broadhead,March 19, 2008

"I finally got to see these things perform. It cleanly went through a wild hog. I tried several others, but none flew as close to field points as these did. Anyway, I highly recommend using them."

Good eye Yankee.,March 3, 2008
By Hevi
"As Yankee said they do wiggle. I would of never known by the way they fly and cut bone. Right now I am wondering if I should give up the easy 30 seconds it takes to go from field point to crossfire. All I know many use this broadhead in big game country out west and I see why. I would not mess around with replacement blades for hunting because the spin will be affected by dirt or blood. Very little extra cost to make sure the harvest is quick for the one shot we might be lucky to get in a season."

junk,February 11, 2008
By seawolf4from New York Old time bowhunter
"I have been bow hunting for the past 40 plus years and recently tried the Nap crossfire broadheads. I like all of the technology built in into this broadhead from the cut on contact to the replaceable blades. I had two out of state whitetail deer hunts planned for this past 2007 season one in Ohio and another in Iowa. Durning a practice session one week before my first hunt in Ohio I had one of my arrows using the Nap Crossfire broadheads go haywire shooting app. 6 inches off of the center of target at 30 yards where all of my other arrows where hitting, I pulled all of my Crossfire tipped arrows out of a Glen Del practice target and shot another group of the same five arrows, it happened again and after pulling out my arrows I spun each crossfire broadhead and one was bent way off the center axis of the ferrule. The center ferrule was so badly bent off center is was worthless to put on a new replacement blade, As not having enough time to start experimenting using a different broadheads I went to Ohio using only Brand new Crossfire broadheads. I shot at a nice 140 inch plus buck from a treestand at a very sharp steep angle and placed the arrow right behind the right shoulder, after waiting for an hour I started tracking the buck, very little blood trail and NO arrow, I backed off and waited for the next morning to continue tracking, we pushed the buck out of a river bottom app. 200 yards from where I took the shot and lost all of the blood trail and never found the buck or the arrow. A week later I went to Iowa and on the first day of the hunt I shot a 14 point non typical whitetail buck at 31 yards that scored 161 5/8 with a NEW Nap crossfire broadhead but the arrow had not completly penetrated through the deer. After removing the arrow I spun the Crossfire broadhead and it also was bent way off center. Looking back on the Buck I lost in Ohio I'm wondering if the Nap crossfire broadhead bent when entering behind the shoulder and somehow deflected and stopped complete penetration of the arrow. Good technology but what good is the crossfire broadhead if the center ferrule it spins on is too weak to support the replaceable blades? And what good are the replaceable blades if you put them on a bent Ferrule? I'm going back to my old and trusted Nap 100 grain thunderheads also sold by Cabelas."

Not so sure,November 6, 2007
By YankeeBowmanfrom Gun Lake, MI
"I hate to be disagreeable, but I was completely unable to get these heads to fly. Any other broadhead I have used flew better. I had no consistency and the head added noticable noise in flight. The two-peice design allowed the blade cartridge to have a lot of loosness on the furrell. you could wiggle it around quite a bit, aside from the ability to spin it. Maybe mine were not constructed correctly? Even the proshop guy who recommended them just shrugged."

Nice,September 27, 2007
By 122875from Spokane, WA
"Very good idea allowing the broadhead to spin. The arrow can rifel through the animal easy for deep penetration. I am new to archery and these broadheads are very user friendly for newbies like me and for those who don't have the time to fuss around like a pro. No need to practice on the range because they flew the same as field tips. Good luck with anything else!"

NAP Crossfire 125 grain broadhead,February 8, 2007
By moosehunter1from Anaconda, MT
"I purchased these broadheads in the spring of 2006. I shot them throughout the summer with excellent accuracy. In the fall of 2006 I harvested a mule deer buck with them. The shot was quartering away with complete penetration through a rib, lungs and through the offside shoulder. The arrow was recovered with absolutely no damage to the broadhead. I changed the head and it went back in my quiver. As for the broadhead that I used on the deer, it now resides on my practice arrows and flys as good as the day it was purchased. Keep up the great products NAP!"

Cross fire,November 28, 2006

"This is the best broadhead I have ever shot, good things really do come in small packages. This broadhead crushes bone and slices through muscle, and leaves the easiest to follow blood trails I have ever scene. And if that is not enough it offers field point accuracy with high speed bows and no tuning."

"I HAVE USED THESE BROADHEADS FOR THE LAST THREE SEASONS OF WHITETAIL DEER HUNTING. I SHOOT A HOYT RAZORTECH @ 62 LBS. WITH EASTON ALUM. ARROWS & 100 GR. NAP CROSSFIRE BROADHEADS. WHEN I TARGET PRACTICE WITH FIELD POINTS I CAN SWITCH TO THESE BROADHEADS AND NOT HAVE TO ADJUST MY SIGHTS.THESE ARE THE MOST ACCURATE BROADHEADS I HAVE USED. I'VE NEVER HAD A PROBLEM WITH ARROW PENETRATION AND THE BLOOD TRAIL LEFT BEHIND IS EXCELLENT. ANY WHITETAIL I HAVE SHOT WITH THESE BROADHEADS HAVE NOT RUN MORE THAN 40 YDS AND DID NOT GET BACK UP."
