"I have no idea why I waited so long to get this sharpener. I got the diamond stone and really liked it so I'm not sure why why i waited. After using the "Stick", the hair doesn't jump off the arm but it doesn't stay either. I could spend 30 min per head with a stone or 5 min with the stick and have a difference in sharpness that is very hard to tell, and I'm good with a stone and steel. If you use a Montec head, do yourself a favor and buy this sharpener."

"this product iz awsome i loved it. it gave me a razor shap edge like no other sharpener did. i use the g5 montec broadhead ne it work great on that nd on all my knives 2 so if u want ur fixed blade broadheads really sharp get the sportsmens sharpener by g5 it will be the best sharpener you will ever have 2 buy"

"If you have seen other products made by G5, you will not be surprised by the stout way the Sportsman's Stick is built; very solid yet, reasonably light weight and easy to handle. I have used it to sharpen knives and the G5 B-52 broadheads. It put a reasonably sharp edge on both knives and broadheads as long as the edge wasn't knicked up badly to start with. I couldn't get razor sharp shaving edges all the way down all the blades but, much better than any other "V" sharpeners that I've tried. A few broadheads that had been nicked badly from shooting them into dirt were not sharpenable with the Sportsman's Stick but would have been a big job for any style of sharpener. I will continue to use this sharpener on broadheads and any hard metal knife blades because of its ability to quickly shave off even the hardest knife blades. Overall I am very satisfied with this sharpener because it is very simple, very fast, and puts a pretty good edge on my blades."
