"Okay, I read all the other reviews and they are spot on. This is the first year using it on my Gorilla tree climber because the netting type seat that is originally on there is uncomfortable. Also, the net seat has me sitting over the front gun rest and i have dozed off and almost fell out. This summit replacement seat fits perfect and I can sit lower as the front and side frame now keep me more surrounded. Fully adjustable, I can easily sit higher or lower. My friend has an old API climber and we tried my seat on his stand to see if it fits. Perfect. I think it fits all tree climbers so if you have an older style one, take off that flat hard seat and replace it. You will be happy. The only problem is its so comfortable you might fall asleep."

"This is a great seat, far better than the seat that came with another brand of climbing stand. I will now be able to sit for awhile without being pinched between the straps, as this appears to be a firmer seat with a nice backrest."

"I have these seats on all my climbing treestands (Summit or otherwise). No other seat I have used comes close in regards to comfort. These seats allow me to sit comfortably and quietly all day when I would otherwise be moving and adjusting my seating. Simple to install and they fit treestands not made by Summit. I would recommend these to anyone who is looking for a replacement seat for their Summit or non-Summit treestands."

"This seat was very easy to put on my stand, It takes about five seconds to put on. And it is even easiser to adjust. It is very stable and secure. I'm a big guy and found myself sitting out there for a long, long time. I'm impressed with the seat. I think this seat would fit or replace a seat on just about any climbing stand."

"I have bought two replacement seats for my climbing stands, they are not the original seats that came with the stands but after I bought the first seat for myself and used it, I had to buy one for my son and his climber also. With the drop down seat you can now use the rail for shooting for a much more stable shot. If I ever need a new one I will with-out a doubt buy the replacement seats from Cabelas.

"This replacement seat works great on all sling style climbing treestands. I used it to replace one of the sling style seats on another manufacturer's treestand and it worked out better than the one it replaced. I would have given it five stars but the back pads need a little more waterproofing. Highly recommend."

"I like the way the treestand seat repacement fit my stand. and it seems to be a better seat. one inprovement would be for straps to extend it around the tree in the part that is the back. most units are not long enought to make it around and connect, to my likeing. but I put on a small length of line to alow a throw around the tree and have loops in the line to connect the strap to hold the seat back up to the tree. Be save arfman"

"I usually have to replace this seat every year and its cheaper than buying the whole stand. Sometimes i leave my stand on my tree the night before i hunt, and one thing leads to another then i find myself at cracker barrel instead of in my stand for the a.m. hunt. The squirrels love this because they think my seat makes a good insulation for their nest or maybe because they are still upset at me about the 22 mag bullets coming in their general direction in early squirrel season. At any rate i hunt out of this stand all season and it wears thin. This seat is easy to take off and put on, which works well if it rains and your stand has to stay outside you can just remove the seat quickly the old design was a mess to take off the seat."

"I changed the seat on a different manufacture's climbing treestand with this Summit replacement seat. It was very easy to install and fit perfectly. Very pleased so far, just need to see how it holds up during the hours in the stand. So far, excellent."
