"Very Nice... I haven't used it, but bought 2 for friend and father and they love it. The extra padded seat and the padded sides make a long day sitting seem much easier. Also makes a great ground seat, ideal for spring turkey!"

"When i purchased this seat I excepted a huge seat but instead it was bulky and hard to carry your climber with. The velcro flaps are useless and the seat overal isnt very comfortable."

"I spend alot of my time in the woods hunting in my Summit climber,when I saw this seat online I decided to get it and give it a try.Well bow season has come and gone and I spent
alot of time in it and at first it didn't feel right till I figured the best way to hook it up. This seat is great you can spend hours in it, Now my brother and hunting friends are going to buy it. Oh and the great thing about it is you can leave your climber in the tree and take the seat with you and not worry if it will get wet or not overnight. Plus it makes it much easier to climb with it out of the way.

"I bought a new API Extreme Grand Slam climbing stand but didn't like the seat it came with. I have three herniated discs in my lower back and need more support. I purchased the Summit Surround Seat and it fits my stand perfectly (better than the accompanying seat) and really feels comfortable on those long hunts where you sit for hours. Worth the money!"

"The surround seat by Summit is a very good gun hunting seat, it leaves a bit to be desired for aggressive bow hunters. #1 It creates more bulk during the packing in of the stand.
#2 When going from the seated to the standing position during the approach of a target animal it is cumbersome to slide out of the way of your legs.
The only negative for gun hunting is it makes shifting for an out of position gun shot more difficult.
The comfort and warmth are appreciated, I would suggest practicing standing and shifting position in the seat before trusting it to an opportunistic hunt."

"I have found the seat very comfortable and easy to adjust. The strap-snap system makes the seat very easy to use while climbing. The only drawback is the noisy velcro used on the pockets makes the pockets useless."

"I ordered this seat because it looked like it was going to be like sitting in a Lazy Boy. I would say it was a little disappointing and not as comfortable as the bench seat that came with my non- Summit stand. I don't think the surround thing is a big deal, Once you have a few layers of gear on, You can't really tell if it surrounds or not. I don't know how they could have made it any better so I gave it 3 stars. It did do everything they said it would, but I was hoping for more when I ordered it and waited forever to get it."

"First of all it was on back order twice so it took me forever to get it here. I ordered it for my husbands birthday, Sept.16, and I recieved it in the middle of October. When my husband pulled it out of the box it was ripped all the way across the front at the seam. I did not want to return it because he really wanted it and it took so long to get it in the first place. It was very cheaply made and has cost me an extra $17.00 so far to fix it."
