    "A good idea is to always have a backup string just in case. While it may never be needed, there is always the possibility that one may accidentally snag the bow on a tree branch when the wind is blowing and have to replace it quickly. It is definitely worth the extra ounce or two in the pack, just to be sure you bring home the meat. Everyone has a story of "the one that got away", best not to let it happen for lack of an extra string."
