"I am new to archery and this is the perfect bow for me to learn on! It's easy to use and easy to learn. I loved the fact that my bow came in a package with arrows, arm guard, and targets, I was able to open the box and start using it that day! I also love the fact that the bow comes in a left handed option!! Us lefty's usually get the short end of the stick and that is just not the case with this product.
As I got this set as a gift, I cannot say much about the ordering process. However, the gift giver did say that the product was easy to find on the website, easy to order, and arrived earlier than expected. I say that's a great combination and would recommend buying this product from this site to anyone."

"This is the first bow ive ever owned and it is great. Not for hunting but is amazing for target stooting. Perfect pull draw wieght. And can stick in a hay bail 20/20 times from 20ft away. This bow is truly amazing and im going to use it for years to come."

"I bought the genesis left handed youth bow after I began to help coach a class at my daughter's school. I have two younger daughters who are lefties...ages 12 and 14. Our oldest girl, now in the Marines, used to shoot a youth bow but it only fit her size and ability for a short while. This bow is great for beginners and experienced alike. They can focus on form and techique and still have plenty of bow to grow into."

"I didn't realize from the description that this bow is only for target practice and not for real hunting. Maybe it is because I know nothing about hunting, but my son was dissapointed on Christmas morning as he wanted something to hunt for animals with."

"I purchased this bow kit for my 8 yr. old daughter. She showed intrest in shooting a bow while using a simple childs longbow. After she shot the longbow for the summer she wanted to upgrade to a better bow. The Genesis bow is solid built, very durable, has a smooth draw and is balanced well. She should be able to get a couple of years out of it due to it's adjustable draw length and draw weight. These bows have a proving track record of longevity and for teaching many children the world of archery. I recommend this bow kit to any one interested in learning Archery."

"The Bow kit we ordered from Cabela's arrived fairly quickly after ordering, considering we are in Ireland, the traking facility was handy, so we knew where it was en route. The bow kit itself was perfect, just as advertised, bar one small thing, the arm guard seemed to be missing, although stated on the box contents. But if used properly this item is really actually unnecessary anyway, so no problem there. The price was good even including postage & taxes. So far my son is extremely happy with his purchase. It's a shame Cabela's don't have stores here in Ireland or the UK

genisis- the bow that changed my life,November 23, 2006

"I was on path leading to nowhere, and not a path that had anything to do with hunting or the beautiful outdoors. Ive pretty much hunted all my life up to about five years ago. I was at the end of the path and really needed to make a life change. I happened to stop by my parents house awhile ago and ended up staying with them for awhile. My step-dad being an avid bird hunter he had a Cabela's catalog sitting around and that was my new but old inspiration to get back into hunting. Since I was low on funds the Genisis seemed like a perfect bargain, and it ended up being more than what I even could have imagined. The Genisis I believe was the greatest bow at its price and even outperformed my old bows. I would recommend this bow package to anyone that is just starting or even has been doing it for years and just doesnt have the funds. I have taken two nice bucks and a five point elk, but at the end of that hunt unfortunantly my bow was stolen. But even though I could afford a more expensive package i'm staying with the Genisis. I want to thank you more than you could imagine. HUNT ON!"
