Unreliable,
October 23, 2009
By Bucky531

"Would be great product if it was reliable. It's not, you can fiddle and fiddle with them-time to shoot some time they lite some time they don't-after the shot-I've shot at 5 deer using them-only once after shot were they still lit-3 times they never lit at all. Don't waste your money-try another brand."

"WELL WORTH THE MONEY ANY BOW HUNTER SHOULD HAVE THEM. Just think to yourself have you ever shot at a deer and wondered if you hit it in a low light condition?
The Lumenoks clearly flys through the air, do not affect your arrow and are very durrable!
p.s. makes it really easy to find the arrow on the blood trail i also suggest the red it is the brightest color of them all i own red ones, green, and orange but red is the way to go
GOOD LUCK!"

Lumenock,

By Dbarbato

"Seeing where the arrow hits even when you have a miss is great. Makes for the recover of an already $20 arrow and broadhead a snap. Takes a little practice to make sure they are set right bur overall very reliable. This is one of the greatest additions to bowhunting in a long time."

Not sure if I would recommend,

"I bought the 3 pack and went to tune in the arrows with broadheads. Only one consistently worked and lit up when shot. After about a half a hour of sanding and adjusting I finally got them all to work 99% of the time but for the money I shouldnt of had to mess with them so much."

Lumenock,
May 4, 2009
By Tejas

"Very expensive; They dont allways work. They work about 95% of the time on targets; but only about 60% when hunting. The reason is that when the arrow passes threw the animal and hits the ground, it vibrates , and turns itself off."

Lumenok can't take the knocks,
April 8, 2009
By tealforce

"The order from Cabelas came to the uk within a week, packed well great service. The luminocks themselves were both good and bad. in the first place when they lite you can see them very well in the target which is great they are also easy to install. However one claim made that I find difficult was they can help with tuning your bow as you can see the flight of the arrow, well not at 290 FPS you can't the arrow is there before you can really pick up any hints as to it flight path maybe if someone was standing behind you and looking from release the second issue was much worse. I decided to shoot a target that was unmarked and I thought it was about 35 yards away turned out I was wrong more like 40 yards the arrow easton2314 hit the ground (grass not hard stone or dried hard ground) the light was not on therefore the luminock idea of finding lost arrows may be called into question and when I picked the arrow up there was a movement inside the shaft which turned out to be the battery which had become dislogded from the nock and although I did manage to re fit it once it hit a target same thing happend again. surely if i had hit a deer and the arrow had gone through the ribs hit the heart and then carried on into the ground on the other side this to would be a fair shock on the luminock, as a result of this I don't think I will be buying anymore great idea but from my limited trail don't seem strong enough"

Lumenok S Lighted Arrow Nocks,

By SuperXII

"Used the nock on 2 doe and it never did light up. I tried it with and without the shim paper, the nock was too long and I had to file it so my release would attach to the string loop. It did work at home on my target, couldnt get it to work in the field."

"I shoot an Beeman ICS 400. I tried these and the Golden Tip. While shooting at a target they worked great. I shot two deer and had the same result both times. The nock lit up in flight but as soon as it went throught the deer it shut off. I use the magnet ones now and have not had any problems."

poor design!,
October 6, 2008
By BuckWacka
from Northern WI. Go Packers!
|
"The nocks aren't as I thought. The way that they work is that they use the Uni-bushing as a conductor when the nock is forced tighter to the bushing when released. If they are to tight in the bushing, no circuit! I wish I would have bought the other magnetic type!"
