Outfitter series saw,

"The saw came in very handy and cut like butter on all trees I needed to cut. I wish I had spent the additional cash and purchased the Saw / Knife combo but live and learn.
I used this saw for 13 days in the bighorn mountain range and plan on using it many more years."

"Purchased last year and was very pleased at performance of bone saw on whitetail and antelope (haven't used wood saw portion yet). Sturdy handle, sharp/stiff blade made for quick work. Much quicker/easier to use than a folding saw or the mini saw I had previously. Fits easily in fanny pack, must have for your cleaning kit.
Bought 2 more for Christmas gifts this year."

"I purchased 2 of these saws as Christmas gifts for my sons. After hunting season, Cabelas put these on cleareance for 50 % off. I have never used this saw, but I am confident it will meet my expectations. I own several "Outfitter Series" knives and they are awesome. I purchased the fillet knife over 2 years ago and have maybe sharpened it twice the entire time I have used it. If it say Cabelas Outfitter Series, it is sure to meet your expectations !!!"

"Since it's not hunting season, I have not had a chance to use the saw yet. It's replacing one very similar that is 20+ years old and has provided wonderful service on a lot of deer and elk. From what I see of this saw, it looks like it should perform well; very sharp, just the right length, appears sturdy. It would have been better if the leather sheath would have been triple stitched, as I have had trouble with the single stitching (as this one has) coming apart over time."

Mighty handy at the lake,

"This handsome little saw turns out to be mighty handy at the lake. It requires a good grip and a strong arm to compensate for its unusual handle, but you will soon get the hang of it. The sturdy holster is a plus. It's a real gem for small jobs."

"Purchased this saw to cut both limbs and animal bones while processing game. Saw worked with ease on small limbs and trees being cut for firewood. Also used saw to cut through bones on a bear that was harvested on the trip.
The saw is very sturdy and held up well with several uses. The handle is comfortable and the blade is very sharp and stiff. Only minor drawback on product is the carry case looks cheap. However it still does the job."

"The materials used to construct this saw were very good, however the craftsmanship left something to be desired. Such as a crack in the wood handle, gaps between the handle and steel, and the brass retaining pins for the handle were not flush. As far as the function of the saw, it worked very well on hard and soft woods, haven't tried bone yet."
