Great quality for the price,

"I haven't used this knife yet but, if you're like me, you know a good knife when you see and handle one. I can't believe the quality of this knife for the price! It is very well made, has a great "feel" in the hand, and is sharp enough to shave with right out of the box. The size, balance, and design are perfect. I reckon you could field dress, cape, and maybe even quarter a whole elk with this knife. I'll have to see how well it holds an edge, but I expect this is going to be my new "go to knife". It's a handsome knife that looks to be very efficient from a weight/size/cutting edge standpoint. The included leather case is high quality as well. "Good Lord willin' and the creek don't rise" I'll have a chance to use it on a Rocky Mountain Elk next week. Can't go wrong with this knife for the price."

"This thing fits your hand like a glove...regardless of hand size. I have hunted hogs, deer and Elk and I would hate to have to go back to a regular knife. The thumb rest on the blade greatly reduced fatigue, while giving total control and eliminating nicks in the hide. GET IT!"

"Got it mid waterfowl season. Carves up ducks, geese, and pheasant much better than my old knife. Holds an edge a very long time and it feels very balanced in my hand. The blade is a bit longer then I'm used to but it's really nice for those late season geese."

"My sons and I recently returned from an elk hunting trip to NE CO. Both my oldest son and I were exceptionally pleased with the performance of this knife. My son, who previously desired a larger "bowie" style knife, commented on how good this knife feels in his hand and how nimble it was to get around tough areas. It also holds it's edge extremely well. Performance of the knife was unquestionable. The sheath however is less than stellar. Cabelas short changed the overall product by cutting cost in this area."

"As some others have stated, I bought this knife for caping. I had no idea that I would use it for almost every need in the field. This knife holds a very keen edge and is easy to sharpen. I field dress, cape, quarter, and sometimes completely bone-out and process deer, hogs, turkeys, etc. using nothing but this little blade. It feels great in my hand and is a joy to use. Great product!"

"I bought my caping knife a few years ago with the intention of using it just for caping. Thats were things changed I now use this knife for field dressing as well. The blade holds an edge really well. Last year it was able to dress out 4 caribou and 2 whitetails including 2 caribou capes with out needing a sharpening. My uncle was amazed and purchased one for himself."

"I have a few great caping knives of my own, well, at least that's what I thought. I bought this knife for my husband for his birthday and he has yet to use it. I've swiped it to use it on an elk and coues deer. This caper is the best I've seen yet! The blade keeps a great edge and is easily cleaned. The handle provides an easy grip and removes the skin like butter. I would recommend this knife to anyone who loves the hunt."
