"We have an 80lb bundle of muscle (shepherd/lab mix) who loves the beach. Wasn't too confident in the little nylon rope retractable leash we had. This Flexi is solidly built with solid ratchet function and the flat strap is tough as nails. Retraction is smooth and consistent. He enjoys the extra length - nice large diameter running room. The angle of the handle could be a little better placed but once used to it, it's really a non-issue. Highly recommend this one."

"The 25 foot lease really makes a difference for your dog to feel free on a walk, the extra ten foot really makes a difference. Only bad think about this leash is the thumb control. It is to far forward to reach with your thumb. If you have small hands you will need to use the other hand to work the thumb control, and lock. Otherwise great product."

"Got this after my GSP had a shoulder injury & was not quite ready to run loose, but a 6foot eash wasn't enough. With 26 feet this gave him the room he wanted to move about & do some light galloping while at the same time, not letting him over do it. A cat crossed out path & he went wild & tried to give chase but the Flexi 3 proved strong enough to hold him even when extended & he is a very well built, strong 70lb boy. An all tape model like this is far superior to the rope models, don't think it would cut as bad if it was to accidently wrap around you, & there is no wearing like a rope does. If you have a strong dog & want something to bridge the gap between a leash and running loose, this is what you need. Product is a bit large & cumbersome but this is the large model so it is expected."

"The Flexi Retractable leash is a must have in my opinion. I will admit that I was skeptical about this product when ordering, but now highly recommend it. The locking and coiling mechanisms perform flawlessly in all kinds of weather. The leash gives the dog a chance to run and play more freely. Maybe it's my dog, but he tended to mouth the shorter leads more, this one he pretty much leaves alone. A great product."

"Nice leash, number 5 for me and my 100lb+ Malamute, handle could be a little larger for use with mittens, but the flat strap works a lot better than the old ones with the cord."

"I have been using these leads for over 20 years. I have used them for my Siberian Huskies ( and they never broke) and now use them for my terriers. It's a great way of letting them run around and enjoy themselves while still being able to keep them under control. There's never a risk of them seeing a cat or a rabbit and taking off without you. I have tried other brands of the same kind of lead but they just don't last as well and are nowhere near as well made or strong."
