Great Lanterns,

"We use a few of these great lanterns in strategically placed locations in our cabin, 1 in the bedroom, three in the living area, 2 in the dining room. They give excellant lighting and look beautiful doing it. I gave them five stars because the value for the price is fantastic. We are looking to buy more for the bathroom. Highly recommend to anyone pondering this purchase."

Scared of the dark!!!,

"The oil lamps worked out great, I have a cabin on the Lake and of course I have electricity. But I also live in a hurricane zone and I don't want to be in the dark again. Anyway the lamps are hung in every room and it really looks great..... I ordered them and got them within a week."

Bad Glass Quality,

"I love the look and the light that these lanterns put off. I just recently purchased two of these and the glass they come with are not tempered and the glass literally shattered after about 3 minutes of being lit. I called cabelas and they replaced the glass peice without any questions, which is great but when i changed out the glass peice it cracked again! I dont know if anyone else is having the same problem, but i would try to find a better quality product...I guess you get what you pay for."

"My husband & I recently built a hunting cabin and have been using Coleman lanterns. I purchased 2 of these & hung them in the living room. They are great! They hardly use any kerosene and run forever. Plus we were both suprised by the amount of light they put out! Very pleased! We looked all over the net and you can't beat this price."

"I read all the reviews before I purchased these lamps, and I must say I was worried about my purchase. However I recieved them and I think they are a great bargain. They are light weight and fragile, but they work great! Not for rough handling individuals but they work great when handled delicatly. I examined them carefully for any leaks and filled them up 1/2 way and NO Leaks!! So I would have to disagree with many reviews. Look great and work great! What a deal!!"

"Purchased the blue oil lantern to use during our frequent blackouts due to storms, this lantern is well made and easy to use. It bright enough to read by, which is what I hoped. The only issue I have is the screw cap does not fit well, concerned this may cause evaporation. Otherwise it's a good product for the price."

"We love the oil lanterns, you can move them around with you easily, and when the power goes off, you are always with something that gives light. Sometimes we take granted the power that is given to us, just put your oil lantern on and turn off all the lights, it makes for having a great conversation with your loved one."

"These lanterns (I bought 2 for my country appointed dining room) look great hanging on the walls but when I went to use them for the first time the wick shrouds came loose. They were just held in place by two flanges bent over the edge and were not very secure. Neither of them had very good threads on the fill caps and continually crossthreaded while getting them back on. One of the fill spouts had been pushed down too far into the reservoir and was a little loose but it hasn't leaked...yet. They did burn okay; and did I say they look great? For what I paid for them I would have expected better quality, though."

"The anchor lamp was a disappointment. It was thin and brittle and one spot weld was broken. It was advertised with the Dietz lanterns, and that's what I thought I was getting.
It works fine as a decoration, but will never be something that I pass down to my children."
