"When rating a dog box product, you have to take into consideration the VALUE of the product. This box is one of the best values on the market. You can buy a better box, but you will pay many times the price of this box. The box is very functional, roomy and well made for the price. I have two of them, which I connected together, and have been very happy with them. For the money, I would recommend this product to anyone."

"Good construction. Delivered missing one of the liners. It was delivered from Owens in about two weeks.
I have glued in some thin insulation in addition to the liners that came with the crate. It is cold in Montana."

"Over all this is a very nice box. It's very easy to assemble and only took me about 15 minutes. It's sturdy and I really like being able to control the amount of ventilation my dog gets. The only thing I did not like about the box was the insulated lining provided. It is difficult to keep in place. I ended up replacing it with foam insulation that I cut to fit the bottom and sides of the box. I glued these in place and they work great."

"Solid well-made box. My dog is able to open the latch unless it's locked with the key. Fairly easy to assemble, with the liner being the biggest problem. It doesn't stay tight to the sides, held in place by weak system. A HUGE design flaw is that you cannot clean out a urine spill without disassembling the whole thing. Likewise you can't hose out feces because there's a 1 inch metal lip around the base. For this price, they should have made an extruded plastic or foam liner that can be easily hosed off."

"I recently purchased an aluminum Owens Hunter Series Dog Box. The package arrived ready to assemble. The directions were user friendly and the product assembled easily. I was up and going in less than 30 minutes.
I have been very happy with the dog box. Until now, I did not believe a product could be lightweight and heavy duty at the same time. The box is easy to load and unload. Cleaning is a breeze and the dog loves it.
