"IThe boots were comfortable right out of the box. I usually need a wide shoe with some brands but though these boots are a B they were roomy and wide .I am using a medium weight sock andstill my feet are comfortable and roomy. I have been wearing them every day since I got them. I wear them when I'm out with my horses and when I'm just walking in the city as well as hiking."

"I would recommend these not only for women but men as well. I work in the NC mountains doing utility work, so I am always on the side of the road in the wet grass, mud, and just everything mother nature can throw at you. These boots are very lite weight, keep your feet dry, and very comfortable. The price is great and well worth it."

"I got these boots for two reasons. One, I work in a chemistry lab and I needed something tough to withstand any glass or chemicals that accidentally fell on my feet; also, I was having back problems from my other shoes and these greatly helped that. The only problem I had with these boots was that it took a while to break them in. Once that was dealt with they were excellent."

"These hikers are so comfortable, I have a pair for work and a pair for play. So far, the pair that I work in have stood up to 2 winters of rough work and still going strong and just get more comfortable in time, like supportive slippers, only your feet stay dry. I'll proabably have the pair for play for years and years to come. I might have to get another pair for work sometime in the near future, but they are worth the money. I have a hard time with shoes that fit my left foot because of an accident I had almost 24 years ago, but these hikers are an exception, I have had no discomfort while wearing these shoes, and it doesn't take a lot for my foot to get sore if I wear the wrong shoe. I would recommend them to anyone. Thank you Cabela's for such a great product."

"This is the 2nd pair I've bought. Don't get me wrong...there's nothing the matter with the 1st pair except that I now need a half size larger. I work at our county fairgrounds and am on my feet all day. These Gore-Tex hikers are comfortable and keep my feet dry (especially when cleaning the floor scrubber and walking through slush to get to the trash dumpster.) Well worth the money!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

"I recently purchased these boots to take on a cross country driving trip. I needed a versatile boot that could handle whatever weather presented itself. I was thrilled with the comfort level of these boots. Not only were they very comfortable while driving for hours, they handled every type of terrain encountered during pit stops and side trips. My feet never got cold or wet. I wore them every day for a week and never experienced any break-in soreness, they were ready to wear right out of the box. Note: I originally ordered them in a women's size but had difficulty with the width. I reordered them in a youth size and they fit wonderfully, a nice alternative for those of us with smaller feet."
