"I bought these boots in 1993 for my wife, (they were made in Italy back then) she was thrilled with them. Comfort and warmth were the best part of these boots. The sole fell off of them this year, (16 years) she had alot of miles on those boots. She almost cried. Then to add salt to the wound, they don't have them in size 8 any more. I guess we'll have to find another boot. I hope they are as good as these were."

"It was easy to set up, but leaked first thing and not even much rain. The rain guard did not repel the rain very well either as usually you can shake it and rain with bounce off, but was even wet on the other side. Leaked in the front both sides."

"I purchased a pair of these for my wife 6 years ago. I spray them once a year for waterproofing. They are still in great shape don't wear easily, and are durable for anything she does in them. THe look like new and hold up the same. We are very pleased in this product and would recommend it for all."

"These boots provide great protection against rocks and crevices in the trail. They also have good ankle support. I was able to wear them out of the box without any fear of blisters or chaffing unlike other boots I have had. I have not done any backpacking in them, but I would recommend them highly for the kind of hiking we have in Sonoma, which can be fairly rough during the different seasons."
