"I was only downtown Anchorage about an hr. and my feet were so cold I didn't think I would last till the take off. I wore 2 pair of socks & still nearly froze. They weren't to tight by any means. I would have had to go home except I went into a resturant to have coffee & get in where it was warm which helped some. I was really dissappointed in the boots"

Great Winter Boots,

"The boots look great and feel comfortable. I went hiking for a few miles, and they were very warm and my feet were comfortable. I did have to get used to the height of the boot because I am not used to wearing high boots. The fit of the boot was true to size. I would definitely recommend these boots to my family and friends. Great quality for a really good price."

Poor color,

"The quality of these boots was exceptional. However, the color of the leather upper was kind of an army green rather than the tan color it appears in the picture. I purchased these for my teen-age daughter, and although the fit and qualilty were great she gave them the thumbs down due to the color of the leather. They really appeared to be more of a man's boot than a woman's. Maybe next season they can improve the color to be something more appealing to women."

"I had these boots for two days and one of the grommets that holds the laces came off, and another pulled partially out. The boots are warm and waterproof but come up high above the ankles and dig into the front and back of your leg for several days until they break in. They fit tight and fit smaller than their size. Are working, but not what I wanted and will not buy again."

"I needed some warm, comfortable, on sale boots to snowthrow in a Michigan winter. This year we had many single digit days, and blowing wind. I love my Bugabootoo boots. My feet (which are fussy) do not hurt when I wear these boots, I'm warm and dry, just what I had been looking for. I drove to many local stores, but found what I needed on line at Cabelas."

"I ordered these boots after careful research based on other customers' ratings. I was in need of waterproof winter boots for walking in snow and slush, and for mud season in the early spring. So far, so good for the winter weather. I ordered half size up to accommodate heavy socks, but that made them larger than I needed. I wish they were a little easier to slip into, but I guess that's part of having a lace-up boot."

Boots ok but...,

"Boots are actually really built well. Keep feet really warm and dry. However, they are really stiff. I have been wearing them and trying to break them in and very hard to do. I primarily bought them for snow and working in the yard when it is muddy. I got a size 8 which is what I wear in most shoes and they fit fine. Most boots you would have to go up either a 1/2 or whole size. If you don't mind the stiffness in boots then this would be a really good shoe to wear! I read the reviews on these boots before purchasing and because of the brand, I thought well, I couldn't go wrong. Another rater actually commented on how stiff the boots were. I bought them and thought what the heck, they'll break in and be really comfortable. Hasn't happened yet."
