"Read all reviews before making purchase.... rarely purchase on line. Took advice of ordering slightly larger for room.... too big. The boots were heavier than expected, and in-soles would have been needed. I could tell they would be perfect for snow-mobiling, but I was looking for boots to hunt in. "I bought this boot to wear at work actually. I work at a ski resort in CO in the lift maintenance dept. We start at 6am and finish at 4:30 pm throughout the winter . We ride snowmobiles to the top of the mountain to prepare the lifts for the day in high winds and very low temperatures. This boot has not only kept my feet warm and dry through these long cold days (great traction as well - on icy snow covered metal!), but it saved me a broken foot the day I rolled my snowmobile on top of myself going up a steep incline - what should have been a crushed foot was only minor bruising. I recommend this boot to anyone who needs hardcore protection and performance - I will buy it again and again!"

"My husband & I have been riding snowmobiles for over 10 years and I have never been able to keep my feet warm. I tried several brand name snowmobile boots and still my feet would get cold after snowmobiling for hours.
I purchased the Blizzard stalker boots and for the first time ever my feet stayed warm! I wore these boots for 2 days of snowmobiling in upstate PA which is approx. 16 hours in the snow and these boots were cozy & warm entire weekend.

"I used to wear heavy, bulky packs snowmobiling. While I never had cold feet they were just difficult to manuever in. I got these Rocky's from Cabelas last year based on other's reviews and have been very happy. My feet have never been cold nor wet while riding and they are so much easier than the packs (less bulky). I got them a size bigger (10 rather than 9) but I have always worn a liner, wool socks and then the storm cloth socks (even with the packs) and it seems the size is right for me."

"I bought these boots in an effort to keep my toes warm here in Alaska, where the winters are long and cold. They are fantastic and exactly as the ad depicts. The soles are flexible and not at all slippery and my feet are toasty even after hours of outdoor activities. They are best with wool socks (and liner socks, if you have them)."

"Based on other reviews I read, I thought these boots would be extremely warm. I live in Wisconsin. I purchased the boots slightly bigger than my normal size so I could wear an extra pair of socks. I wore these boots for an hour, in December, with 2 pair of heavy winter style socks (that weren't too tight) and my feet were cold within an hour. I was also dressed properly, snow suit, hat... I just thought they would be a lot warmer. They do have a nice thick sole, but there is not much insulation in the foot bed or upper. These big boots are only slightly warmer than my light weight slip on shoe style boots that I wear for every day errands in the winter."
