"I have used these waders extensively for work as a biologist as well as for fishing. Prior to finding these, I had a hard time finding waders for women that really fit well. These waders fit great and are comfortable."

So light and comfortable!,
September 10, 2009
By biogirl

"I used to wear waders that were much heavier and way too big for me. Fit is soo important! I wear between a 6 1/2 and a 7 and I got the 7. it works perfectly with a thich pair of socks in the summertime and it has plenty of room to accomodate heaving clothes in winter. The material is so light you don't feel like you're sitting in your own sweat during the summer months. Great grip on the boots! Would recommend this to anyone doing biological research!"

Perfect for Trout Fishing!,
April 20, 2009
By EngTchr
|
"This is the first pair of waders I have ever owned. I wore them on a trout fishing trip last weekend and loved them. I wear a size 6 1/2 shoe & bought the size 6 waders. There was room for the two pairs of socks I had on plus some. I am only 5'2", so these waders had some extra space than what I needed, but the straps at the top can be tightened to a comfortable and snug fit. The felt bottoms were also perfect for slippery rocks! I would definitely recommend these for walking in strong creeks with slippery rocks!"

3 FORKS WOMEN'SUNINSULATED FELT SOLE WADERS,
April 20, 2009
By Watersleuth6592
from NE Pennsylvania
|
"JUST PURCHASED THEM FOR OPENING DAY OF TROUT IN PA.
THEY ARE WONDERFUL !! I am 5'5" @ 150 lbs and they fit perfect !!
The boots are very comfortable and kept my feet reasonably warm... I wore a pair of medium weight riding britches under the waders with lightweight wool socks, and all together; it was very workable.
Spent approximately 1 hour in the water ( air temp around 40 degrees). Boots were decent to negotiate stream embankments and trails as well ....
If spending more than an hour in cold water I'd say go with the insulated version, but these worked just fine for what I needed."

"The waders were purchased for my tall, big footed 13 year old Grandson. The fit could have been better, (most teens that age are tall and skinny) and we had to buy womens waders to keep down the bredth and still fit the foot. A man's size 9 would have swallowed him."

great to go mudding in!,
March 31, 2008
By gomud
from tx
|
"I had a hard time finding waders just for getting dirty in the mud (for occasional 4-wheeling trips). These fit good, worked great and washed easily. For 140 lbs, 5'1" & 6 1/2 shoe, the size 6 waders fit fairly well; roomy on top half, a little tight near the calves but okay, perfect size on the shoes and lots of room height-wise if taller. A little hot for the summer time and too bad they don't have women's lug sole...the felt just absorbed the mud but worked anyway."

Waders,
March 31, 2008
By Fshngrl
from PA
|
"As many reviews say I'm only 5'3" and on the heavier side. I had no problem with the size of them at all. I bought a size 8 and there's extra room up top and I have no problem getting the boots on, there is extra material around my knees they should maybe think of making them in a petite length for the rest of us. I haven't gotten to use them yet but I think they'll work pretty well for me."

"The fit and feel is just right. My daughter is 14, 5'3" tall and a little girl so they will bunch a little at the knees, but they fit fine. They look tough. If we have any problems I will amend this, but so far so good."

Ladies Waders,
October 10, 2007
By LaunchLady
from Houghton Lake, MI
|
"These waders were perfect for short jobs working in our inland lake during the fall. Because they are not insulated they are lightweight and less cumbersome than the insulated type. The felted sole bottom helped when walking on the slippery rocks. The only problem I have with these waders is the leg length is so long I have a large amount of extra wader material that bunches up below my knees. I guess they are designed to fit very tall women as well as average size and short women. Otherwise they're great!"

"The Uninsulated Felt Sole Wader was comfortable, easy to get into, and definitely kept me dry. However, in cold water, my feet got chilled quite easily. I would recommend neoprene socks or multiple socks in cold waters."

Good fit, floppy boots,
September 11, 2007
By Pacer
from Conejos River, CO
|
"Fit was just as size chart shows, my wife didn't feel like the michelin man. However, boot fit was very important, even these moved around and made her feel unsteady in faster water and rocks. She wound up using some stocking foot waders on the 3rd day, with some boots borrowed from another woman that was her size. She said stability was much better with stocking foot/boot combo. These boot foot waders however would be fine for calmer water with smoother footing."

Genius!,

By jj68
|
"I bought these for a trip to Yellowstone/Grand Teton. What a great decision! Very warm in the water, but I didn't sweat to death on the way to fishing. Excellent value. Several others in my group have purchased these since. I was also concerned about fit as I am short and chunky (5'3", 165#), but no problem. I highly recommend!"
