"I bought one of these one week ago, and the result has been amazing! I placed it about 30yds from my stand on a heavy trail and put a camera on it. In a weeks time i had over 140 pics with 14 different deer and all stopped to try it. Even had a Doe with Fawns camp out there for a couple of days. AMAZING PRODUCT!"

Researched use a failure.,
December 3, 2008
By JayTheSpikeSlayer

"I placed this product at my tree stand where I have a pretty good deer population. I have watched a total of 23 deer at the stand and caught only one doe even acknowledge that it even existed. Even then she only smelt it and turned away from it. Bucks and does have gave it no attention. It rained and washed away the candy coating down the tree and too the ground. Still with the acorns and other internal foods exposed the deer pay it no attention.
Save your money and buy 2 bags of corn for cheaper."

Waste of Money,
December 2, 2008
By ABMO
|
"I put up 2 of these in an area with many deer and hunted over the area for 3 weeks solid. The deer paid no attention to either one. I observed many deer walked right by them without giving them any notice. These units dissolve over time with the rain, exposing the embedded nuts. The squirrels don't pay any attention to them either. A waste of money."

Stay away from this one.,

"Thought the idea was good when I first saw this item. I guess the deer had others thoughts. Was a total waste of money for me. I watched many deer at the bait and they didn't even go to investigate it, even in passing. Might work in some areas of the country, but in Northern Wisconsin, at least for me, it is a total dud."

Not good for Southwest Louisiana,
November 21, 2008
By Brou

"I did not have any luck with this product in Southwest Louisiana. I am sure this is a good product in areas where deer arent as timid. I caught a few opussums hitting the product and thats it! I bought 3 at the beginning of the season and I have the last one up now, hopeing that a few deer hit it with food sources getting scarce."

AMAZING!!!,
October 19, 2008
By WesternWashingtonHunter
from Renton, WA
|
"This product is the real deal! Many products are reviewed in dry areas and on open fields. Here in Western Washington (Seattle, etc.) we have moisture galore and wooded hunting areas. I screwed this product into a tree on a Tuesday. By Thursday, it had started to slough/drip off onto the bark and moss undergrowth beneath the tree. By Saturday, the bark on the tree was gone, the moss undergrowth was gone, there was a deep hole where the deer (fresh droppings) had eaten it, and there were fresh tracks everywhere! I will be buying these each and every year!"

"This new acorn rage controlled consumption was great. It screws into a tree, stays out there a long time, and really pulls in the deer, as they seem to love it. Can't ask for anything more."

Shocker,
September 29, 2008
By Anonymous
from East Texas
|
"A buddy bought a couple of these and gave me one to try because he said nothing was hitting his. I put it out on my property in E. Texas. After 10 days, the thing is about gone. What surprised me was the syrup must run down the tree when the deer lick and suck on it because the whole front side of the tree is chewed up and the ground around the base of the tree is dug up like a mineral spot. Deer tracks in that area are way up. Since I wasn't expecting much from this thing I didn't bother putting up a camera, until today. Tree stand may be next."

"The only thing that seams to love this are coyotes. I have cool pics of two dogs fighting, but I was under the impression this is to attract deer. After three weeks not one deer even approached it, so now it’s in a garbage can at Shell. Save you money….."

Waste of time,
August 1, 2008
By Woody123
from West Bend, Wisconsin
|
"I put out the Acorn Rage Fusion in early July and I've got hundreds of trail cam pictures of deer ... bucks in velvet & does ... around or licking a mineral block (which I bought at a local feed mill) that sits immediately in front of the tree the 'Rage' is attached to. NOT ONE picture of ANY deer showing ANY interest in the ACORN RAGE FUSION. Waste of money!"

"We got game cameras up all around our lease and we seem to get pics of the same deer....usually doe. We put up a couple INfuzed licks and we are getting lots of pictures now of doe and some nice size bucks. The cameras don't lie! This stuff works and I'll soon have the proof hanging on my wall."
