"this is everything I could have asked for in a hat like this. little tight on me, but I have a big head, or, so my wife says. I got it for an Appleseed Shoot (outside all day in 85+ degree August heat and humidity, blasting rounds all day in the sun), and I really do not think I could have made it with out it.

"I'm starting to get skin cancer on my ears and the extra protection seem to help. This is a COOL hat. It does that some breaking in since it's one size fits all, but it's worth it. Definitely one step below casual, but a great nock around hat. If your out in the sun around Sept 1 and after this is one hat you've got to try."

"I use the mesh boonie on my bass boat on sunny days. Works good for keeping the ears and head from sunburn. The mesh top keeps you from sweating atop, unlike baseball caps. Plan to get another one for a spare. Like the camo design too!"

"Go figure, when I wear this hat many women say ' you look so cute in that hat'. For me it covers my head and ears with good ventilation. This hat works and looks good. "This is a great summer hat. Most leather and cloth hats have bad headliners that are terrible when the weather is hot and they get moist and uncomfortable. The headliner on this hat is like wearing a turkish towel around your head, it never gets uncomfortable no matter how much you sweat. The net crown is really great too. Being short on hair, I thought it might let too much sun come through... No problem at all. Having a large head, I was also worried about the "one size fits most" thing, but my wife, who has a small head, and I, with about a seven and a half, can both wear them without a problem. The floppy brim hangs close to the head, so it gives as much ear protection as a much wider brim would provide, without the problems of a wide brim being knocked or blown off your head. Of course, if the wind gets too strong, the hat even has a chin cord. About the only limitation I can see, is that it sure wouldn't be much good in the rain, but out here in the summer, who cares? I bought four of them, and was going to give a couple of them away. I changed my mind and am keeping the extras for spares. Great hat, and at the price, great value."
