"I recently took a turkey with very good spurs. This was the first time that I had taken a turkey with spurs that would be nice to display. The King Outdoors Spur Trophy Mount worked well to display the spurs, tail feathers, and beard."

"MOUNT WAS GOOD QUALITY BUT CHANEL FOR BEARD SHOULD BE OPEN AT BOTTOM . IT WAS NOT QUITE LONG ENOUGH FOR MY BEARD. ALSO BACK SHOULD HAVE MORE ROOM BEHIND METAL PLATE TO PUT TAIL IN. I HAD TO BEND BRACKET TO MAKE IT FIT & PUT SPACER AT BOTTOM SO IT WOULD HANG STRAIGHT ON THE WALL. MOUNT DID LOOK GOOD AFTER A FEW MODIFICATIONS."

"I was not happy with this product, the directions were very vague, the tail holder/ hanger is very difficult to work with, would have been ok without tail only mounting the beard & spurs"

"I ordered this for my father. He shot his first turkey this spring on a guided trip I took him on. 18 lbs, 10 inch beard, over 1 inch spurs. He has it proudly mounted at camp. Cost was a little high but well worth it. Great choice to display spurs."

"I really like this kit. It had all the stuff needed and I think it looks a little better than most of the others. I also like that I could preserve / display the beard and spurs too. The directions are adequate tho, as a first timer a little more detail would have helped. But I had been reading some online forums and got some other ideas as well - like positioning some feathers with hot glue. My beard wasn't that big and I love the color of the breast feathers so I included a puff of breast feathers at the top of the beard. Also attached the harvest tag to the base to remind me of the date, location etc. One thing - when removing the fan from the bird, I'd recommend taking some of the back skin and feathers too - don't cut it off too close to the fan. My mount would have been a little easier and might have looked better with a few more feathers to work with.
The whole thing turned out easier than I expected and looks good - I'd buy another and have suggested this one to some friends."

"I've used this kit twice now and it's the only one that I have found that allows you to mount the spurs and beard with the tail. It comes with everything you need although I'm more generous with the borax so used more than was sent. It's a beautiful mount when finished and well worth the money. As a mom who takes her kids hunting, I was very proud to mount my daughter's first turkey using this kit!"

"I shot my first 2 turkey this past fall and wanted a way to display the tail fans. I did a lot of research on the various mounts that are sold and decided on this mount. All I can say is... WOW!!! The instructions were simple and very easy to follow. This mount makes even an average turkey look great. The spur mounts make your trophy really stand out. Unlike the other mount displays I looked at, this had ample room for mounting the beards... as I needed to mount the 10.25" and 11.25" beards. I would highly recommend this product to anyone that truly wants their trophy to look like a professional did it but at a fraction of the cost. 5 stars all the way. Thanks Cabela's for an awesome way to display my trophies."
