pro troll flasher,April 15, 2008
By salmonguyfrom alaska
"I buy these flashers for one reason, I like the action that comes from the extra diagonal fin. If your looking for any kind of longivity, don't bother. After just a few tows, the paint and/or the prizm strip starts peeling off. I am a commercial fisherman so I have lots my own prizm tape which I heatgun down properly, and I paint them the way I like them. In addition, the rings, snaps, and swivels, are alot lighter and cheaper than what comes on a standard hotspot. I wish the factory would consider fixing these problems, and consider offering them in a larger assortment of colors."

"E-chip advantage?...",September 19, 2007
By Yakutatmanfrom Seattle, WA
"Fished for a week with this product in Alaska. Rigged up in several different ways and noticed no appreciable difference in my success with this versus the old standby of a dodger with herring. For me the jury is definately out!"

"I fished this flasher in 6 lakes in Maine with hundreds of fish under the boat. I got much more hits using a basic, old standby flasher."

trolling with flashers,November 25, 2006
By jacksonlakerfrom jackson, Wyoming
"Most of the fishing I do is downrigger trolling for Lake Trout. The Pro-Troll flasher with the E-chip is the only flasher I use. I have used it with mostly trolling squids, but sometimes I will drag a small spoon behind it. There are some days it is the only thing that will catch fish. I have used it with lead core line and had good results also. I run my lures around 24" behind the flasher, the flasher around 15 to 20 feet behind the downrigger ball. My only complaint is that you will get some line twist after trolling it a while. This happens with all flashers. The Pro-Troll comes with high quality ball bearing swivels. If you do alot of trolling for trout, this is one set up you should try."

Muskie,November 20, 2006
By MarkZfrom Arizona
"I purchased the Pro Troll Flasher for Trout but spent a week trolling it for Muskie on Canadian Sheild Lakes with great success. Slow troll at 20 foot depth and 5 ft leader and a large minnow bait worked for a 48 and a 50 inch Muskie...my friends have already purchased theirs for next year...alot of action at the lure."

Awesome Salmon Fishing,November 13, 2006
By watbob61from Western New York
"I recently bought some Pro-Troll Pro chip Flashers and used them while fishing Lake Ontario. Needless to say they worked extremely well producing between 15-20 adult Salmon per day during a recent tournament in August when run with a fly."
