"The bushnell 6500 is the best scope I have ever owned. I have scopes that cost more but they do not compare to the 6500.This is a great product from bushnell. The scope is very very clear and is excellent in low light conditions. Very happy with this product."

"I've had this scope on my Tikka's (270win,300wsm) for two years. I have taken 4 mule deer and a 5x5 bull elk from 100 to 350 yards. What a fantastic piece of glass, just dial in the range on the elevation turret and squeeze the trigger.From a foot of snow to pouring rain there is absolutley no fogging. Have shot these scopes out to 600 yards with excellent accuracy. Several of my hunting buddies have put these on their rifles as well and they love them.You can't beat this scope for the money."

"I purchased the Bushnell Elite 6500 rifle scope that goes up to 16 power. It is the first really "expensive" scope I have ever purchased. First of all, I had it mounted on good Leopold mounts and rings, however the gun shop had a little trouble matching up a set for a 30 mm tube. After that, it was smooth sailing all the way. The shop bore sighted it for me, the I was off to the rifle range. I used up about 10 shots of ammo sighting in. Then at 100yards, I cranked the scope up to 16 power and watched the next 20 shots go in the bulls eye ring. I still have to go back and fine tune my shot a little above bulls eye at 100 yards, but the scope was fantastic! It was easy to use, crystal clear, and had a slight oval shape to the vision making the field of view larger than most other scopes. It is hard to miss with this scope!"

"Scope not clear. Two different adjustments, but scope would not clear up. My 4200 8-30 is crystal clear. Returned scope to factory, its been a month and no word yet. Three fellow shooters also purchased 6500's, all have had to return them. Will keep you posted when scope is returned."

"This scope compared to zeiss, swarovski, leupold, meopta any of the other high dollar optics is a head and shoulder above them. The clarity, field of view, rigidity, eye relief and oh yes, the price is right. Is light years ahead of the competitors, the 30mm main tube allows for the 6X magnification factor. Bushnell customer service is second to none unless you are rude or nasty with them, then they may drag their feet a little, but then who wouldn't when someone gets rude for no reason other than they can't operate a rifle scope then lie to them on what happened to it. Anyway you cannot go wrong with this scope it is totally the shiznit of rifle scopes. Aim straight and Hunt Hard!!!!!!!!"

Very Disappointed in Quality & Customer Service, January 15, 2009

"The scope does have good clarity, but for the most expensive scope Bushnell makes I was disappointed with the quality. The side focus knob was very stiff right out of the box and broke off within the first few adjustments. Then I found that Bushnell’s customer service is terrible – very hard to actually talk to anyone, no way to email directly, and very slow, plus despite the fact that the warranty enclosed with the scope states that they’ll cover the return shipping they charged $10. Finally got the new scope and side focus knob felt great so I mounted the scope and when I went to make the first adjustment the elevation knob wasn’t even attached to the scope, you can adjust it, but if you turn the rifle over the adjustment turret just falls off. I hope mine is an isolated case, but for this kind of money I expected much better. From the experience I've had one star is over-rating this scope. I’d recommend a different brand."

"I've spent more for a rifle scope, but I don't think I've ever owned a better scope! It's super clear, has a huge field-of-view, easy to sight in, and most importantly, holds zero without fail. Toss in the "Rainguard" coating, the 4" removeable sun shade, and variable power adjustment from 2.5x all the way up to 16x... there's little this scope can't do.
I just have to watch my yardage focus settings it perfect!"

"What a great scope. A little pricey...but what do you expect for quality. I have Nikon's, Swift's, and Leupold's and the image quality is very good. The magnification (4.5-30x) is awesome and really alows for some diversifed hunting. I have it mounted on Rem 700 Sendero in 7mm mag with a custom Krieger barrel and the scope has very good tracking....no impact shifts.

Has held up to some serious loads of 139gr Hornady and 168gr Berger of 3500 and 3175 fps respectively. Other scopes have failed with this. Also, the tactical lines work really well on the recticle. Highly recommend this scope"

"This is an excellent scope. The optics are very bright and crisp out to 30x considering the exit pupil is very low at this point. It tracks very well and windage/elevation adjustments are defined per click. Magnification ring is smooth with tons of eye relief.
I'll be using this scope on predators and varmints. After several trips to the range I am very impressed with this Bushnell."

"This scopes glass is just as clear if not clearer than many other expensive riflescopes I have looked at, (Zeiss, Leupold, Burris), but bushnell beat them all with better features. It has a 6.5 magnification range 4.5x-30x. It has crystal clear clarity even up to its 30x zoom ! The side focus is extremely accurate in its ranges. I have verified all of them with my bushnell legend rangefinder. The windage and elevation adjustments are semi-target turrets and are extremely smooth. They turrets are resettable too without the need of any tools. This riflescope is very rugged and lightweight. Buy this riflescope, you will not regret it !"

"i put the scope on a long range custom caliber i assembled as for i am a total wildcat tester.it performed flawlessly throughout my hunt and i put it thru the paces(abusedonhorseback).the weapon i put it on is a 6mm/264 mag for a mule deer hunt in wyoming and utah.the scope was put thru its biggest test of all when i squeezed the trigger.it was raining,sleeting,snowing, just plain old nasty.pictures of my deers are available.what i like the most is the ability to go into heavy timber or open plains your ready for whatever."
