"I have one of these on my Ruger .44 Mag for deer. Haven't got this one mounted on my Model 100 .308 yet. But it should do very well. Works great in low light extending shooting time a little when the deer are moving the most. Holds up well to gettting knocked around. One of the best scopes I have ever bought. Bushnell is by far the best buy for the money."

"Having used scopes costing 5 times more than the 3200; I can attest to the fact that this scope meets and exceeds the performance of these over priced, over hyped models. Whether it is a windy 10 degree day or during an 80 degree rainstorm, this scope performs and performs and performs. It brings the best out in the rifle that it is mounted on. Sub MOA groups are par for the course and low light performance is outstanding. Would I buy again? I already did!

"I have the 3-9X40mm Bushnell Elite 3200 Firefly. This scope is clear and bright with an awesome reticle even without a flashlight charge it presents itself nicely. However I am sure in really dim conditions the flashlight charge would help. I shoot sub MOA groups with it atop my Savage rifle. The scope also features finger adjustable elevation and windage which is a nice feature, this is not found on the higher-end competitors models in this price range. The scope is well-built and solid with a great guarantee/warranty (1st year full-guarantee including money back if not satisfied then lifetime warranty thereafter). It also has Bushnell's Rainguard lens coating to sheet away water and minimize condensation. On "high-end" scopes such lens covers are optional. It is an excellent combination of quality and value. Bushnell has done a really nice job on their Elite product lines and the 3200 is no exception. You won't be dissapointed with this one."

"I set the Elite Firefly up on 3 of the same model single shot rifles in different calibers, as I wanted consistency in feel, regardless of what I was hunting. The Elite series had high marks on this website and others. My opinion: Very good quality for the money. Accurate adjustments. Clear and bight. The glowing recticle wasn't something I was looking for, or thought I would ever need, but my first hunt with the new set up was a hog hunt that went well into dark. The scope performed well right through dusk with very good light. After sundown I lit the recticle with the light provided with the scope. With the glowing recticle, I was able to make a clean one-shot kill by a dim red spotlight well after dark."

"Very Simple. I took it out bear hunting in the could rain, snow and sleet, all of my buddies scopes were fogged up! Mine was not! Guess what they all own one now.
The fire fly is also very cool. it works but i can't say it stays lit as long as they say. 5 to ten minutes I would say, but thats still good for me. STACKY,"

"I bought two 3200 elite scores with the firefly reticle and could not be happier. I have had them for two years now and feel comfortable recommending them after testing them in harsh conditions over the past two seasons. Niether scope has fogged under very cold and often wet conditions. They have held zero and and not needed resighting since the original sight in. They are always bright and clear even in low light and the firefly reticle does not really need charging with a flash light as they have a slight green glow anyway under low light conditions, and I assume that is because of the natural light that the scope picked up when it was light enough to do so. Anyway it is too dark to hunt before you actually need to charge the reticle although some people may want a brighter contrast between the target and the crosshairs. Whats nice is the choice is yours to make. Either bright (charged with a flash light) or a faint glow (natural light). My daughter likes hers brighter and my son likes his dimmer and so do I, but the choice is yours to make. Great scope"

"These Scopes are great! Have 2 with Firefly, 1 without , and 1 (4200) which is even better. Have not been able to make these scopes fog up no matter the weather conditions. Really don't need the firefly crosshairs as I can see them fine in as low light as I have any buisness shooting. Have not had any problems with them holding zero. Can't wait to get my new Bushnell 1500 ARC rangefinder in! I Hope it's as good."

"This is a quality scope , well made , good adjustments. However I bought this scope for low light & night varmit hunting purposes, and it wasnt quite what I expected. Since I have bought this scope , there are now several affordable scopes on the market with battery powered illuminated reticles , that was not available before with affordable prices. Before they started out at about $600 and up , and at present there are several brands and models to choose from ,well under $500 . So dont expect this scope to be better way to go if you are looking at Illumuninated Reticle type scopes."

"the first time i used this scope on my new muzzleloader i was very impressed. it is crystal clear in good light conditions and very good in low light conditions. i don't recommend using a flashlight to brighten the crosshairs in low light. it makes them too bright. the crosshairs naturally turn from black to a greenish-grey in low light and you can see them plenty good enough and still see what you are aiming at. this is by far my favorite scope and i have several others that cost more than this one. for the money, i don't believe you could go wrong with this scope. when it is time for me to buy another scope, i will certainly be buying the bushnell 3200 or 4200 series scopes."

"I've had this scope for several years now. It has handled snow, weather in the mid teens to 100 degrees, as well as relentless Pacific Northwest rain and fog. This year my friend offered to carry out my rifle while I packed out a blacktail in Central CA. He had slung the rifle over is back. We took a break and he unslung the rifle. As he did the gun slipped and it feel scope first. The scope hit a rock from about 3 feet up. Fortunately the glass was fine. The next day it took 5 shots and two clicks to get it back on center. It is most definitely shockproof, waterproof, and the inside has yet to fog. The rainguard feature is ok, haven't really found it to be that remarkable. I've had one opportunity to use the firefly feature and it was very useful. The scope has done as advertised and fit well in my budget. I am very happy with my purchase."
