Bushnell 3200 4-12 AO DOA,November 2, 2009
By DDofIndiana
"This scope was a disappointment! I have a 3200 3x9 that does VERY well. I wanted to get a scope with the BDC style reticle, more magnification and adjustable parallax. I put this 3200 DOA on my 300 WSM with very high hopes. Unfortunately the scope would not hold zero. The windage and elevation adjustment would produce wild results where 1 click of elevation adjustment would result in 3-5 inches of elevation AND windage change and hold for only a shot or two. I was concerned that I might have a barrel problem, and wanted to rule that out since I had not had that problem before the DOA.
Cabela’s was great and sent me a replacement 3200 4-12 DOA right away. However, it too had the identical problem with mechanics holding zero. I put my old 3x9 on, and held its usual 1-1/4” group, where two clicks of adjustment would move the group one half inch away as expected - repeatedly. I won’t try a third DOA, or for that matter, another Bushnell optic product. This 4-12 DOA may hold just fine on a .22, but I won’t waste the time trying.
I WOULD STRONGLY SUGGEST NOT TRYING YOU LUCK WITH THIS SCOPE! Cabela’s has many other fine choices at this price level or even a little higher. I skimped on price, like everyone warns, and got burned. Shame on me."

Great Scope,September 10, 2009
By BuffaloBillyfrom Lake City, FL
"My 2d 3200 but this time DOA and it exceeded my expectation. 6 rounds to zero and with a hot .270 LA Zeroed @ 100 yds shot a 3/4 inch 4 shot group @ 200 yds using the reticle. Not the weapon but the scope did it. Clarity, reticle and ease of adjustment gratify this optic."

natural varmint gun mate,July 7, 2009
By btohuntsfrom escape from new york city hunter
"The 5-15xAO model works great on varmint guns like my Ruger Target Mini-14 with good foul weather features that do not kick hard,so eye relief is not an issue.Clarity is good at higher power, which is not always the case with a scope that blue coller hunters can afford."

Not the best in price class,April 15, 2009
By Imacanukfrom Alberta, Canada
"I have an Aetec and a Buckmaster. Both are more sharp and clear than the Elite 3200 in a side-by-side comparison. That said it is still a decent scope, but for roughly the same money, I'd rather go with either of the above. Not sad I bought the 3200, but probably wouldn't do it again."

great scope,January 31, 2009
By mat04
"This is a great scope for anyone looking for high quality optics at an affordable price. The rainguard coating works as good as riflescopes three times the price. This scope truly is waterproof and fogproof in cold, wet conditions. You couldnt ask for a better riflescope."

Bushnell Elite 3200 Riflescope,November 29, 2008
By PennHunterfrom PA
"I liked this scope so much that I bought a second one for my son to use. The Rainguard really does work, the scope gathers good light and the crosshairs are easy to see. I have other good quality scopes such as Zeiss, Leupold, and Nikon, but for the money it is hard to beat the Bushnell 3200."

By JAYZ1462from NEBRASKA
"I BOUGHT MY SCOPE TO REPLACE MY STOCK 3X9 SIMMONS THAT CAME ON MY GUN BECAUSE I HAVE A HARD TIM SEEING AT MUCH MORE THAN 150 YARDS. SINCE IVE BOUGHT THE SCOPE I HAVE 3 150 CLASS AND BIGGER DEER HANGING ON THE WALL BECAUSE OF IT. GREAT INVESTMENT. WILL BUY ANOTHER ONE WHEN I PURCHASE ANOTHER RIFLE."

Love this Scope,December 26, 2007
By jlkcfrom Weatherford, Tx
"I put the Elite 3200 on my 300 Weatherby Magnum and it works great. I've had it about 3 years and have never had a problem with it. I first sighted it in when the outside temp was about 38 degrees and drizzling. The scope never fogged up one time. I've used it many times in rain and am planning on putting one on each of my other rifles. It is also very clear in low light conditions. All my buddies know how much I like this scope because when we go shooting I can't stop talking about it."

Elite 3200 3x9 & 4x12,November 4, 2007
By ChrisBuchananGafrom Ga.
"I own two of the 3x9 and one 4x12. I own several other major brand scopes for target shooting, but for a real world hunting scope these are second to none. The scopes are well made, bright, repeatable, and the Rainguard feature is a must for cool damp weather hunting. I recommend them to anyone who ask. Great value."

Bushnell Elite 3200,September 21, 2007
By BackToMainefrom Maine
"This is an excellent scope. Crystal clear. I was boresighting/squaring up using a bore mounted laser dot boresighter and a small carpenter's scquare across my cellar (approximately 40 feet). I could see very clearly even in the low lighting of my cellar. I could make out the tick marks on my square! Awsome scope! I'll be buying another!"

Cadillac of the mid priced scopes!,June 7, 2007
By cctroutfrom West Virginia
"I have used a bunch of different scopes and discarded most. This is one that will be with me awhile. I own the 4-12 and have it mounted on a Tikka T3 Lite and it is the best of the best. Optics are clear and bright which give me added time in my hunting day. I have used other scopes that shut down at sunset. Not this one! Features are only to be expected on scopes costing hundreds more. The rainguard feature is out of this world. You can pay a whole lot more, but you will never find a scope that will stand up to this one. The 4200 Elite is the premier, but will cost you 2 1/2 times more. In a 10 rating I would rate it 10 1/2."

Bushnell 3200 5x 15x40,May 9, 2007
By 375Tfrom Indiana
"I have bought or used all but 2 major scope makers products over my 50 years of shooting and hunting.
To my eyes this Bushnell 3200 is equal to or exceeds other scopes in clarity and correct repeatable adjustments that have been 2 to 3 times the cost.
The AO adjustment of the 3200 has been the closest to match the measured yardage I have shot to date."
"About 4 years ago I purchased the Bushness Elite 3200 for my Browning A-bolt II 7mm Magnum w/ Boss compensator. I was looking for a high quality scope that wouldnt keep me from affording ammo to shoot. Another item that pulled me in was an offer for a REAL NICE Bushnell raingear coat, which saldy was recently stolen.
This scope has been great, has kept its zero over the years of trucking the rifle around from range to range. Over 700rounds I would say has been placed thru the scope (or more accurately thru the rifle with the scope riding hunchback) and not once have I had to re-tune the zero. I dont hunt & I GENERALLY target shoot in ideal weather conditions however I have been out while it was during VERY heavy snowfall and the optics held clear. Would definetly recommend."

Bushnell Elite,December 12, 2006
By Brighteyesfrom Virginia
"Last year I purchased 2 Bushnell Elite rifle scopes and mounted them on my sons muzzle loaders, I and my sons have been pleasently pleased with the performance of these scopes, the clarity is good and the Bushnell rain gaurd is fantastic, we have hunted in any weather that you can imagine hot, cold, rain, snow and these scopes have never foged up not even a little. If your looking for an excellent scope at a low price the Bushnell Elite is it!!"

Never had a bad one!,November 22, 2006
By Gingerfrom Born and raised in Vermont.
"Over the past 50 years of hunting I have had the oportunity to buy and use many different types of rifle and pistol scopes. Since I have never had a Bushnell scope "go bad" on me; last year I bought a Bushnell 3200 Elite, with "Rainguard" for my 7mm-08. I used this combination in Anticosti in the rain and Vermont in the snow. This year I bought a second one for my .270. Bright clear images......and that "Rainguard" is unbelivable! Just dump the water or wipe the snow from the lens and you have a good clear picture. I don't even use lens caps anymoore."
