"I tried some replacement stakes that I bought at a local sporting goods store and they all broke when I tried to set the decoy. These Feather Flex stakes are nice except you can lose half the stake when you pull the decoy up. To counter this I super glue the two halves together. The stake is a little harder to carry but sets up faster and you dont lose half the stake. They are durable and strong enough you can anchor the decoy in harder soil."
