Just what I ordered!,

"I read all the reviews on here before I made my purchase. The holster was exactly what I had expected. My Berretta 96f was a extremely tight fit when first tried. Some of the reviews said to oil up the holster to help with the fit. They were right. After rubbing in some Vasoline (as suggested) for maybe 15 min. the leather became soft anf plyable. My Berretta slid in all the way and the retaining strap snapped just like it should. It is now resting in the holster perfectly and is molding to the shape of the gun. I read some unfavorable reviews of this product, but I must say there claims were not evident with mine. Great leather holster. Very happy with it."

Good but problem,

"I loved this holster. The color, style, and finish were great but I had one problem.
When I go to fasten the snap, the edge of one side of the snap would push the safety off on my 1911. Obviously not a good situation so I will be returning it for something else.
Pity, otherwise it looks great and fits my gun superbly, the snap not withstanding."

"Got the holster and was impressed with the quality of workmanship. Tryed to insert my Thompson(Auto ordenance) 1911 and found huge problem---would not go in---even with the tension screw backed all the way out ! It was so tight that it pushed the slide out of battery. Once in, it took two people to remove the weapon----one to hold the holster and one to pull on the gun---unless some one has a skinner 1911 than mine I could not recommend this holster !"

"I originally purchased this holster for a Springfield XD45. Although the holster is to short for a 5 inch XD, I'm sure it would fit a 4 inch just fine. I did find it an excellent fit for my Bersa 45. It's the great fit you get from have a gun in the same holster for years. No pulling your holster up under your armpits on the draw. I also found it to be a good fit for my Taurus 845. With the bottom screw removed (on the holster) it even accompanies the laser sight on the rail."

"This is a very well made holster that I wish I did not have to return. I purchased this for my wife's Glock 19 and it fit beautifully. Unfortunately it no longer fit when I added the Crimson Trace grip sight that I purchased from Cabela's earlier. Since I could not return the sight for a spring-mount type I will be returning this very nice holster."

Pretty good holster at a great price,

"I bought this holster, which is designed to suit a Beretta 92, for my Taurus 99 (which is dimensionally the same as the Beretta). The holster appears to be of very good quality and is made very well. However, I found that the press stud for the retaining strap was situated too low for the strap to close over then end of my pistol. In other words, the strap would not snap closed over the pistol using the original press stud. So I went to a leather-smith and had another press stud fitted above the original one and the snap is now able to close. I am not sure whether other buyers with Beretta 92 pistols have had the same problem, but apart from this minor inconvenience the holster is very good. I would be happy to recommend it to a friend, keeping in mind the possible need to have another press stud fitted above the original one."

"Excellent price value for a holster under $40.00. This is a leather holster, so it will be stiff. You don't want it to fit perfectly out of the package, or it will be too loose after you use it a while.
After two weeks my Springfield XD 40 fits smoothly and snuggly in the holster. When I got it, it almost took a hammer to get it in.
I treated it with mink oil, worked the gun in and out of the holster one evening, and then left the gun in the holster for a week or so without disturbing it.
Couldn't ask for more."

"The nice thing about leather is, if you put some petrolium jelly on the leather, it will become soft and you can slide your gun in easily. Put it somewhere warm and then let it dry. It will shrink around the gun and create a highly custom fit. The jelly will not cause your firearm to rust. Much better than some nylon or hard holsters."

"I was very pleased with this holster. I ordered one for my .45 caliber Glock, and it fit like a glove, albeit a very tight one. But, like a new baseball mitt, I just had to oil it up and work it back and forth. I just sat in the chair a couple of nights and kneaded it around and worked the pistol in and out several times. Now, it enters and exits very easily and smooth.
The craftsmanship on this product is excellent. I like the thumb release on the holster.
All in all, a highly recommended product."
