"I have never used a gun cleaning kit as poorly made as this one. I bought it as I believed it would be a nice addition to my travel set up for varmint and pheasant season shooting. What a mistake. First thing I broke a tip off in my .223, but was able to retrieve it. Second time I was cleaning my .223 a rod off.
don't waste your money or time buying this kit. Get something else.
This is the first time I've ever had a complaint with a product from Cabelas and I hope it is the last. I'll be returning it tomorrow, Monday."

"Had the same problem with the 22's. The adapters for cleaning 22's are too large. They scraped up the barrel of one of my guns and wouldn't even fit in another one. Spend the extra money and get a better kit."

"Purchased this kit over a year ago and I'm not impressed with it. The rods are weak and thin and some of the tips don't fit down the correct barrels. I cant clean my .22 LR rifle with the given .22 LR tips because there to big. Terrible product don't buy this!"
