"This is really a great case. It comes full of foam pads so you can even use it for a small pistol case. I was able to hold about 7 boxes of 300 Win Mag ammo in it. It now comes along with me on every hunt."

"i bought this, thinking it would be a little sturdier and was kinda dissapointed with the locking mechanism on this piece. but overall its doing pretty good. besides the fact it only carries a handgun and ammo for 2 rifles and 2 handguns. its pretty compact, but i think it would burst if i put some shotgun ammo in their with it"

"Was hoping to be able to at least get more rounds in with out haveing to remove most of the foam. Quess I shouldn't be so picky. Have gotten 4 plastic, 50 round .308 boxes in the bottom , with 3 factory 20 round boxes across the top. With 260 rounds available can still get out for awhile and shoot. It does make a sturdy seat at a bench that is on the range I go to if the seat is too low, so not all that bad."

"I purchased 2 of the ammo travel cases. They are smaller then I was hoping but they actually hold a good amount of ammo. The locks are not that good. They seem like they would be easy to break or pick. Other then the locks I like the product and would recommend them with a warning about the locks. I don't have any kids in my house but if I did I would be concerned."

"After looking every where, I decided to take a chance on this ammo case and I am very pleased and will purchase more. I needed something to carry 1000 rds of 17HMR ammo and this meets and exceeds the task. It easily holds 1000 rds of 17HMR with room for 200 more, I use this space for a bore snake and solvent. This case is well made and just the correct size. The locks could be better but locks are only to keep honest people honest. I probably won't use the locks anyway. This case will also work well for a handgun and ammo. I highly reccomend this product."

It's a good ammo case...,

"Can be used as either a handgun or ammo case.
I liked the fact that it came filled with gray eggcrate and regular style foam that can be cut to different shapes if needed.
As an ammo case (my intended use) it holds 6 boxes of my Remmington 30-06 ammo. Similar to what you see in the picture, just imagine two layers of 3 boxes. If you only need to store 3 or fewer boxes, you can also cut the included foam chunks to fit accordingly so the ammo doesn't bounce around.
My only minor gripe is that the locks are pretty flimsy. It's not designed to be a lockbox really, I wouldn't store valuables or money in it. The locks just aren't that sophisticated; on par, I'd say, with a cheapo luggage locks.
I bought 2 of these cases and both cases use the same basic key. I imagine anyone else who buys one will have the same key I do. It's really just a way to keep kids out of the ammo or show police or airport security that your ammo is stored securely in a locked box seperate from your weapon.
The box is a sturdy black plastic and appears durable enough. I like it and would recommend it to anyone looking for a good little ammo box."

"The only travel case which technically seems to fit the requirements for transporting ammunition by airliner. The case is well made for the price. Not sure the locks are all that strong but who's going to go out and spend $100 or more for a case to pack ammo. Would reccommend, it fits plenty of ammo and has reoom fro magazines etc."
